Real experience
The food tasted great and the presentation was beautiful. We ordered the Guinness stew and the Dublin burger, as well as the Blarney puffs -which were delicious. There were just two issues that I can’t ignore, so they lost a star. We ordered a medium well burger.
The burger came out looking dang near raw all throughout the inside. We could not eat most of it, opened it up to show the server, who agreed it was not done and apologized. However, there was no correction and no discount to the bill, despite most of our burger being unedible. I’d forgive a cooking error, but that combined with the lack of a correction at the price we paid, lost them a star.

St Patty’s day birthday celebration we had mussels, Brussel sprouts, soft pretzels, & Blarney Puffs for apps they were terrific, black and tans excellent, dinner hangover burger, special burger, Mac and cheese, corned beef and the Shepard’s pie. Burgers were delicious, Mac and cheese to die for, Shepard’s pie excellent but the corned beef was a little dry probably spent too much time in the warmer. Our server Brando was very good memorized all our orders very personable. Recommend coming back. Cheers.

This was my first time visiting Concord and I decided to go to The Barley based on the positive Google reviews. I am glad to say that I made the right choice. I would like to start my review by mentioning how amazing the service was. The waitress was very attentive, extremely friendly, and nice. I ordered the fish and chips, which were both tasty and arrived quickly. The dish came with coleslaw on the side. My table had a pleasant view of the New Hampshire State House and park. The men’s restroom was also clean.

Loved everything about this place. As a person who loves ales and wheat beers, this place was paradise! They have so many options! I loved their barley 10yo pale ale, and the allagash white wheat beer. Now coming to the food, their HADDOCK SANDWICH IS THE BEST SANDWICH I’ve had in a while. The haddock had fried crispy batter and was soaked in tartar sauce and was SOOOO good that my mouth is still watering. The ambience is very nice too, and the golden lights add to the warmth of the place. Will be back here again!

Great little down town spot! They have a bar area and tables and booths. The music playing was a cool folk indie vibe. The pepperoni pizza was amazing!!! Comes 6 huge prices. Its a Chicago style pan pizza and was delicious. They also had some fun seasonal drinks like the apple cider sangria I ordered.
finally
We stopped in here after a long day of driving, and it was one of the few restaurants open late. The service and food were great. Our waitress, Kira, I believe, was nice and made some good drink recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
