Real experience
Had to kill some time in Concord and stumbled upon Smokeshow BBQ. So glad I did. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. Added some Cole slaw on it with some of their spicy bbq sauce and MMMMM so good. The potato salad was flavorful with big chunks of relish in it.
The Cole slaw is kind of bland compared to the other food, but that is just because I prefer a more vinegar based cole slaw. My only regret was not trying the corn bread which others have said is the best around. Overall it is very good and I’ll certainly be back.

Nested in this unassuming strip mall in Concord, Smokeshow serve probably the best bbq in NH. Worth the 40 minute drive, this places serves great Texas style bbq, we tried the brisket, the ribs, and some collard greens. The kid added the corn bread and claims it’s the best in the area.
The guys are super nice and very attentive, a nice change to other places that completely ignore their customers. Located 3 minutes away from the highway, it’s a must stop when in the area. Plenty of parking. Two large tables and a couple of stools, it’s perfect for a quick meal, touch and go. An absolute gem.

The biggest problem with this place is deciding what to get everything is delicious the second problem is managing what quantities to get. The third problem is when they run out of your favorites.. so get here early! That being said I go for the small goodness, pint of mac n cheese and two links of the jalapeno cheddar sausage… like a savage, mix it all together and to top it off…add in some mild bbq sauce..

Started by a New Hampshire man who spent 15 years living in Texas, who then moved back north. He brought the smoke and cuisine back from Texas. Having married a Texas girl and since I have lived in Texas for over 13 years… I have some idea about barbecue from Texas. This was tasty and nice portions with some good sides on offer. My brisket was tasty but somewhat dry, my Hill Country sausage was delicious. My wife enjoyed her ribs very much as well.
The coleslaw was crisp and tasty with just a hint of sweetness, the potato salad was good but easy on the mustard. Baked beans were tasty and the mashed potato mix-ins side was yummy as well. It had lots of melted cheese and sour cream. Their barbecue sauces are either mild which is rather sweet, or spicy which is genuinely spicy. Beer or soft drinks are available, clean restrooms as well. No dessert. Parking is on the street…

I wasn’t sure what to expect for BBQ in New Hampshire but I was pleasantly pleased. I ordered Texas Caviar, creamed corn, cole slaw, chili, smoked turkey, and a meat called goodness. The caviar was OK but could have used more flavor. The same for the cole slaw.
The creamed corn was excellent. The chili was very good worth a very nice flavor. There were plenty of chunks of meat, and it delivered a nice kick. The turkey was good but the goodness stole the show. It was truly outstanding. Great texture, great smell, great flavor. It stood head and shoulders above the offerings and the offerings were good. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.5.
