Great business outing. Place is quite small, but they were able to accommodate our large group. Food and drinks were top notch, with a good variety of choices

Best bloody marys! Having brunch at the bar was perfect. My friend and I went relatively early and we were thrilled we could get walk-in seats at the bar. I had been meaning to go to this location and it didn’t let me down. She got avocado toast (it was loaded with the good stuff) and I got a light breakfast burrata. Our focus was the bloodiest… they hit the spot. The bartenders were great and pretty much left us alone to chat and catch up and knew exactly when to replenish our drinks.

Thanks for the phenomenal birthday dinner experience. We flew to New York to celebrate my birthday, so I had to find a dinner place on short notice. I emailed the restaurant and received a feedback within seconds, including my reservation. Said so, we went to the restaurant at the evening of my birthday and were warmly welcomed by the gorgeous lovely seater.

We kicked the evening of with a variety of cocktails, started with the Burrata and the Arancini, followed by the Veal Milanese and the Orchiette with Italian sausage and broccolini. The team surprised me with a birthday tiramisu including and a candle on top while singing happy birthday to me. We’ve had the most amazing evening in New York and I can only recommend to visit the Caffe Dante. Great service, excellent Italian food, most amazing hospitality and such an outstanding atmosphere. We will come back, definitely worth a second visit. And thanks again for the most amazing bday dinner!

Dante never lets you down, whether it’s the drinks, food, atmosphere, or simply making the restaurant available.
Everyone on the team helps out with patrons, not just one server. It’s a collaborative effort to make sure your visit is memorable
Seasonal drink menu is a nice surprise, there are always staples of course which satisfy your palette.
Reservations are recommended, but I’ve never see. Someone turned away if they have available tables

Best espresso martini I’ve ever had. This restaurant stays busy so best to arrive at start of dinner if you’re doing walk-in. The flatbread and pasta were both delicious, but overall I liked Via Carota more than Dante’s. Would come back for drinks.

Nice cocktail bar. Very crowded. The area was actually a little too tight. Bartender was amazing. Drinks were good. Not crazy about having drinks poured from tap but thats just my opinion. Old fashion was very good. Food at bar was not available when we first got there. Had to wait 30 minutes for the opportunity to eat.

One of my favorite places in NY. Very good cocktails. The famous garibaldi is a must, but they have many other good ones, including their variety of negronis. Food menu is also interesting. Italian vibe, great atmosphere and top hospitality from all the staff. Reservations are recommended.
