Real experience
Food and Atmosphere: The filet, loin, and mutton were all great and cooked perfectly. Oysters, cheese puffs, and the cheesecake was also amazing. A lot of great stuff on the menu. Atmosphere was flawless. The place is just beautiful.
Service: Honestly feel like I just had a bad night with the service. We got moved eventually and the manager was nice about it so not going to fault them for anything just yet. But I will say for a fine dining establishment where people are spending a lot of money for a culinary experience, my personal rule is that fine dining service standards strictly apply. I cannot say that the overall service (aside from the weird beginning that was later ameliorated) were up to standards. Will give it another shot though and update if it changes.

One of my top five NYC steakhouses. The place was so focused on getting the correct temperature of the steak, it was served on a cold cutting board instead of boiling butter in other places. It may not be a preference for everyone. At least for me, I was able to enjoy the flavor of the dry age steak as well as the texture of my porterhouse. Our server, Tristan, was wonderful. No hustle here, and everything was on point!
We had a lovely dinner for four. Nice cocktails and a fine wine selection. The wedge salad was fantastic as well as the mutton. Steaks were superb and cooked exact. Sides of the roasted vegetables, mashed Yukon and mushrooms did not disappoint. Recommend to get the red wine sauce on your steak.

Absolutely loved our meal at Keens! Came for the famous Mutton Chop which was good but it was the Prime Rib that blew me away. Also ordered a T-Bone for good measure but in hindsight probably shouldn’t have as that was a lot of food for 4 pax. Key lime pie was great too!
We had a decent bottle of Malbec for $42 which is surprisingly cheap for Manhattan. Altogether great value for the quality and quantity of the meats.
To top it all off we had the best server just taking care of us and making us laugh at the same time. I would recommend Keens and can’t wait to go back!

Everyone knows this is a phenomenal steak house. The blue cheese is amazing and so is the wedge salad. The Old Fashion and other cocktails are delicious. Steak was tender and properly seasoned. Service was excellent. The Chocolate Mousse is the smoothest you will ever have, it’s like eating a delicious chocolate cloud. Enjoy your meal at Keens!
Absolute gem of place. You forget you’re in the city. The NY strip was amazing. The sear and light seasoning did not mask the nice beefy profile. The accompanying asparagus and Yukon gold mashed potatoes was great as well. I highly recommend the 11:45 reservation as it fills up fast. Will visit next time I’m in NYC.

Solid steakhouse, upscale, but no frills. Focused on doing meat right. The Filet mignon was outstanding, along with the hash browns and carrots as sides.
Service was attentive without being annoying. I wish tables were seated further apart. I will never understand the appeal of sitting so close to other people and listening to their conversations. Luckily we came later, so the restaurant was pretty empty by time we finished our meal. The food made it worth it.
