"The Best Seafood Boils and Southern Flavors in NYC"

Aqua Boil Restaurant New York The service and atmosphere was nice here very attentive staff, in terms of flavour felt like it was lacking a bit on the lobster the spicy isn’t spicy at all so that was a disappointment.

Aqua Boil Restaurant New York

I eat boils almost once every two weeks, so I’d consider myself knowledge enough in this area. This place was great, but not amazing. I felt like the sauce was lacking that powerful punch of flavor you expect from a boil, also not enough sauce in the bag either. But, I appreciate how the shrimp heads were prepared, how the fries were done really well, and the seafood was good quality.

The service was fairly attentive and nice. Only thing I would change is the way they tell you sit on the bench until your whole party is there, I typically see this in upscale restaurants with bigger parties and tougher reservations, not in a place that wasn’t packed where you’d be putting gloves and a bib on to chomp down on some shrimp. Also, they need to work on their sauce game considering that’s one of the essentials of a great boil.

Aqua Boil Restaurant New York menu

All about the lobster roll! …but you have to try everything else on the menu because there isn’t anything bad. From the soft-shell crab basket to the Boom Boom shrimp, it’s all good! Make sure you get your fill of lemonade because after all that fried goodness, you will get thirsty!

Interesting dining experience. I enjoyed it so much! I went with the boiled seafood bucket with 2lbs shrimp, and 1lb of crab. That was more than sufficient for 3 people. We added broccoli, corn and potatoes, and went with the Cajun sauce, medium spice level, and it was definitely spicy! The garlic bread was also nice and soft.

It was good for NYC. But as someone who has been to NOLA it doesn’t compare. They were packed but service was still fast. Food was fresh; it was just the sauces that weren’t as good as I’ve had in other places. They did pack the bag full though!!

Hands down my new favorite seafood boil spot in NYC! They offer a fantastic selection of bites, and their happy hour deal is unbeatable. Monday to Thursday, $6 margaritas, martinis, wine, and beer; and Friday to Sunday, all those drinks are $6 before 7pm. We started with a variety of sides—the Mac and cheese was incredibly cheesy, the lobster roll was generously filled with meat, and most sides were smothered in garlic sauce. If you’re a garlic lover like me, you will love this spot.

We also tried the garlic and thai sauces on the side—dipping garlic bread into the garlic sauce is a must; literal heaven! For the seafood boil, we went with the mixed Cajun sauce, which was absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. They have really great lunch specials so definitely check it out! Overall, an amazing experience with incredibly friendly staff.

My seafood boil was good. The Cajun mix sauce was good. The price is really what throws me off cause I’m from Philly. Our boil bags come with potato and corn, our prices are much cheaper, and we have more choices. I.e: This restaurant only allows some items to be sold 1/2lb. Other than price I have nothing bad to say. It was a small but busy restaurant. Chill vibes. The staff was nice. did experience some language barriers. I’d return to try more of their menu.

Aqua Boil is a hidden gem. I got the Crab Boil and the seasonings were tantalizing and food cook to perfection. The service was excellent. They were very attentive and the vibes were positive and upbeat. Definitely going back for a second visit.
