Real experience
Excellent pasta, well worth the Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction. We read The Infatuation’s review, which is a bit dated as some dishes are no longer on menu, but ordered 2 of pastas they recommend: linguini with 4 cloves of garlic (aglio olio), and the fiori di carciofi. We also ordered the ricotta agnolotti with vodka sauce, arancini, and burrata pockets. Everything was truly excellent; the vodka sauce was the best I’ve ever had, as was the linguini, and the fiori dish was delightfully complex.
Great drinks, too. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars for service is because one of the servers took our arancini plate without asking, and it had some of the best pesto I’ve ever tasted which we wanted to save for later. Will definitely be going back.

First of all, its menu and its employees is very good. We saw this place because Taylor Swift came in East village.
I liked the steak very much, but the potatoes were too undercooked. My friend made the same comment about the pasta. Everything was fresh and tasted good, but overall I do not give full points to the place because I cannot make a comment such as it was the best I ate. About avarage I mean.

Spent a rainy sunday afternoon with the best comfort meal in the city! Bar Primi is such a great go-to spot with friends, family, or date night. You have to start with the meatballs – star of the show! We shared a plate of Rigatoni Carbonara and Chicken Piccata. Had a few drinks as well with the Paloma, Aperol Spritz, Sauvignon Blanc, an Espresso Martini. The vibe and the ambience is unbeatable. It’s romantic and cozy but also full of energy. I’ve dined here plenty of times and am always satisfied with my experience.

Perfect! Great good, wonderful atmosphere and professional service. The food was really yummy. Rice balls and meat balls were fresh and warm. Pastas were very good and spot on. We took carbonara, cacio e pepe, ravioli and spaghetti pomodoro. All great. Good coffee and tiramisu.
I came here with a friend on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was not very crowded but the decor, vibe, and service were lovely. The server ignored the growing ridiculous trend of restaurants telling guests the guests that kitchen prefers guests to order all food at once which made me VERY happy. The food isn’t the best Italian I’ve ever had but it’s certainly well above average. We also shared a bottle of wine. I would go back and recommend.

Atmosphere & service 10/10. Portions very small very a pretty penny. Expect about $100 plus a person. Pasta dishes are good not excellent. Loved the clam pasta and agnolotti with vodka sauce. Beet appetizer was not my taste at all, probably least favorite thing I’ve had in a while. Was expecting earthy with fresh yogurt as described except was way off. Drinks and bartender were excellent. Decent Italian! 4 people and we all split 4 apps, 5 dinners and no dessert, everyone had 2 cocktails each.
