Real experience
This sushi restaurant is phenomenal. Thankfully we got a table for two without a reservation. It was a Monday night and we were visiting SoHo and NoHo for the night. The appetizers, sushi, and dessert were excellent. It reminded us of a great sushi restaurant my daughter and I visited in Los Angeles. We still talk about the food at that spot and will now be remembering the meal we had at Blue Ribbon Sushi.
I really appreciate how much effort they put into finding alternatives or letting me know what I could or couldn’t have on the menu, due to my dairy, gluten, and pork allergies. After they pointed out the items that had those items, I couldn’t believe how much I’ve been consuming them at other sushi restaurants.
My daughter and I highly recommend getting an excellent meal here. The sushi is memorable.

The Japanese establishment in Soho has become a personal favorite of mine.
It offers a serene dining experience with high-quality food, free from overwhelming crowds and excessive noise.
While the interior is straightforward, the ambiance and food quality are exceptional.
The attentive servers are ready to recommend dishes if you’re undecided.
Guests are warmly welcomed with a traditional Japanese greeting.
Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for an authentic Japanese experience in the heart of NYC.

First time I went early and quality was impressive but second time quality was off. Got the Alaska, spicy tuna and tunascallion and it was okay. The green tea creme brulee was not my favorite as it was so fatty and sweet. Would not get that again. Got the Madi which was my favorite fish. Spicy tuna was my favorite out if all of them and the eel cucumber special was okay.. Not again

If you are craving for raw fish in a budget friendly but still not too bad quality, Blue Ribbon is a good franchise restaurant that is not bad at all. This time I was hanging out with my friend in Soho, NYC. She came to this restaurant before and after shopping, we just want to go to Japanese place that is not too fancy.
We tried Uni and we weren’t crazy about it. My opinion, with regular like tuna or salmon they are fine but with some stuff that need to be quaily like Uni or fatty tuna, after you already tasted the better one when you try to not as good one, you will get turn off. Yes, we just wanted to give them a chance but it is was it is, you get what you pay.

I went to eat with some friends and we received excellent service, the waitress was in charge of helping us with our order about which was the best sushi. The cooks welcomed us in a very pleasant way. We ordered sushi, my favorite was California roll and the dumplings were delicious.
Sancerre and sushi the perfect Sunday lunch combo. Food was delicious and service was excellent … can’t wait to go back for more Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna
