Real experience
I am very particular about Arizona style Mexican food especially since I am more biased to California style Mexican food. I don’t have a lot of favorite restaurants here, but I have to say the food was excellent. I loved the variety of dishes. Their spinach enchiladas were delicious the cheese and cream mixed together were a perfect mix. We had a big party and everyone ordered something different and everyone was very satisfied with their food. The enchilada style groundbeef burritos were a hit with our group.
The staff is very friendly. You could tell they enjoyed what they were doing. The atmosphere is welcoming and very family friendly. The service was great. We didn’t wait long for our food especially for a busy Friday night and a party of eight. I was very impressed with everything. I will definitely visit this place again even if I have to travel from Tucson. It’s definitely a place worth checking out.

It was our very first time eating here and can’t wait to be back to repeat the same and try the other dishes as well.

My husband got two tacos and I grilled chicken with vegetables with black beans and rice. both of our lunches were excellent. there was plenty of food and well seasoned.
Good service too!

PRICES HAVE GONE UP CONSIDERABLY SINCE WE WERE HERE 2 YEARS AGO.
Service was very slow.
I ordered the flautas…the flavor was average. There is no seasoning at all.
We’ll try it again. Hopefully, food will be tastier!

I have always loved coming to this restaurant, my grandparents are regulars and all the staff is very kind and understanding. All the bad reviews I have seen about this restaurant are usually people not understanding the culture of the restaurant they are visiting. I have been coming here for 15 years and the food has always been amazing and is always improving. I’ll always recommend the beef flautas.
A wonderful Mexican restaurant. Myta was our waitress and as perfect as one could be. Attentive but not overly so. The Sirloin Special was outstanding. 2 could easily share. Margaritas were well mixed and prices were reasonable. My new favorite.

The food was delicious, the servings generous, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The only complaint was we had to wait a little while for our food to arrive. Based on this experience, I highly recommend El Rodeo.
Always good food, service is usually ok. Last time I was in, a waitress had family or friends seated and was serving them as well as our table. She was doting on them and being a bit slow with us because they had all of her attention.
