Sultan's Kite Restaurant Nebraska

Food: got the chicken schwarma (hot and spicy) pita and the chicken schwarma (regular) salad. The chicken is very dry, so you definitely need tzatziki sauce. The hot and spicy version’s spice is so overpowering that you can barely taste anything else, although it’s not overwhelming (and we can usually eat pretty spicy foods). Vegetables in salad are fresh, though!

Had a great lunch on a visit to Lincoln. Gyro and falafel were very good and we enjoyed the different sauces (the medium has good kick with good flavor!). Staff were very friendly. Restaurant was clean and comfortable.

Today, I visited Sultans Kite, and I must say, I had an outstanding dining experience. I ordered the chicken shawarma with potato wedges and a variety of sauces, and the food was beyond amazing. I would easily rate it 10 stars. The quality of the meat was impressive, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. What stood out was that they prepare your order right in front of you, ensuring it’s made to perfection. I also decided to try the Gyro platter, and it was equally fantastic.

The Gyro meat was of high quality. The restaurant itself was exceptionally clean, even the bathrooms. Hats off to the owner for maintaining such high standards. Sultans Kite has now become my new favorite place in town, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

One of my favorite downtown spots – open late night on the weekends. Portions are large, prices are low and flavor is amazing. I usually order half chicken shawarma and half falafel over rice to get the best of both worlds. Their tzatziki sauce is incredible – get “everything” that comes on the side salad. If you don’t devour it all you can save for a round 2 lunch.

They have delicious baklava as well. Love their staff, always friendly and you move through the line quickly (like chipotle style ordering). Love this place and happy they opened a second location out south.

Food here is the best Mediterranean food in the city and always great service! Stop in here for sure and you will not be disappointed! Come here on a weekly basis since about 5 years ago and it’s always good!

Sultan’s kite is one of my favorite places to eat in Nebraska! I love the food portions and taste. My entire family ate here when they were visiting and they absolutely loved the salad and shawarma. The sauce options are all incredible and the location is right in the center of downtown. To top it off, the meat is halal! Highly recommend this spot.

I did a quick last minute order on DoorDash or at least it seemed last minute and they delivered it speedy quick with the most fresh it has ever been! I like the fact that they put the Tikka Korma in a separate container and not on the meal itself and also the Chicken Schwarma was so grilled and well done and it was way better that way!

Sultan’s Kite is one of my favorite local restaurants! Lunch spot for me at least once per week. The food is always delicious, the restaurant is clean & the staff is very friendly! Go to is Chicken Shawarma salad. Lunch that is flavorful, fresh, healthy & $10 is GREAT!!!

finally

This place is absolutely a gem! The food is the best Mediterranean this side of the big salty, so much flavor, so many options and combinations, it’s all SO FRESH!!, and the staff is wonderful and happy to help you decide what will suit your flavor style or craving best!
