Saigon Shack Restaurant New York

This Pho restaurant Hello Saigon , awesome , we was a family, as experience was great, inside nice atmosphere, personal friendly, There was no line at the entrance, which is important for Manhattan. we ordered pho and fries (rice and fries for kids) everything was great.

The pho tasted amazing, the flavor and aroma was just like traditional pho should be, the meat was filling and soft, the sprouted beans were very fresh, not all restaurants have this, if you want to enjoy traditional pho then this is the place to go.
Everything about this place is wonderful. food, staff, atmosphere…

Saigon Shack convinces in every aspect! The restaurant has a great atmosphere with many locals eating there. After sitting down, our food was ready within 15 minutes and tasted amazing! The staff is so lovely and welcoming, they even charged our phones 🙂 The prices are absolutely adequate for the great dishes.

Great food, lovely staff and an authentic experience. Would do it always again

I try to stop by here every time I’m in the area. Excellent food and short waits once you order. I always get the Spicy pho and summer rolls. It’s a well measured spicy and not overwhelming which I appreciate. I find their broth here to be quite unique, almost on the sweeter side which I absolutely adore and recommend to all pho lovers to try.

Saigon Shack is a great spot for Vietnamese food. Just a heads up: if you’re paying cash, you can order from the server; otherwise, you use a QR code to order and pay, which includes a minimum 18% tip even if you’re doing most of the work.

Despite this, the food is consistently excellent. We had the Shrimp Spring Rolls, Crab Cakes (comes with tartar sauce but I’d recommend asking for more of the salad dressing to brighten it up), Beef Pho, and the Classic Banh Mi sandwich. Perfect lunch spot in the city. Note that they don’t take reservations, so you’ll need to wait in line and your whole party has to be there to be seated.

Been a minute since I had a good banh mi but I’ve found my new go-to spot. I’m a pescatarian and I’ve never loved tofu banh mis, but this place offers seafood options including fish, shrimp and crab cake. I went with the crab cake today and my lord was it a beautiful thing.

The vegetables were pickled to perfection, the bread wasn’t too hard, it was a stunner. I got extra tartar and chili sauce with it and I recommend doing the same, not because the sandwich was lacking flavor, just because their sauces are delicious. Shrimp spring rolls hit the spot too. Great place- can’t wait to go back!

Great place for PHO. It was my first time having PHO and the bar was set really high. The sweet potato fries are really good and so were the spring rolls. It’s a cute little spot for a nice meal though it is kinda small so plan for your party of people accordingly
