Lobster Cooker and Pub Restaurant

The BEST lobster bisque I have ever had. It was so fresh and creamy, and didn’t taste fishy at all. I wanted to lick the bowl. I am usually not a fan of fresh cut fries because they’re soggy, but these were crunchy and incredible.

The employees were also incredibly nice, and welcoming. I wish I could make the trip from Boston every weekend to have a cup.

We loved eating here. Especially since the fried food is gluten free. This is the first time my husband has had fried shrimp in over 15 years! Loved the lobster roll. Fast and polite service. Great job guys!

I really wanted to love this place but it was just OK. We sat upstairs (the upper deck). Several things weren’t quite right. We had to get our own silverware from the bar because the waitperson didn’t bring any to our table. Not a big deal in and of itself, but it added to the other issues.

My husband ordered a haddock sandwich but it came as a platter instead, and the bloody Mary mix they use tasted awful to me. I admit most places I go make their own and mixes usually don’t measure up. Also, my lobster roll was 90% claws with big rubbery tips. I’ve had lots of lobster rolls in my life (I’d say at least 100) and they usually have a couple of claws, but not this many with big rubbery tips. The cole slaw was ok. Nothing special. The fries were pretty good, though. I wouldn’t go back or recommend. Maybe we hit it on an off day, but this wasn’t very good. Sorry.

Simple, fresh food. Clean space. Nice small sports bar upstairs. Easy to park, in the middle of all the retail shops, is nice to be able to duck out for a beer and get off your feet. Staff is nice and pleasant.

Lobster roll, lobster bisque, fries all superb. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Good menu, indoor or outdoor seating.
Really really enjoyed this place.

We arrived in the rain on motorcycle after a long days ride. Greeted like family and we got there shorty before closing. Atmosphere was fantastic, lobster and clam chowder were delicious. I will drive out off my way to eat there again…
Fried seafood done well. Lovely outdoor seating, beautiful sunshine, pleasant staff, and quick service. We will return!

It’s an small two story place and outdoor seating with great food and a wide variety of beers and other beverages. Lobster dish it’s great and they have the best chicken sandwich I ever had. The General Manager was really helpful teaching a member of our group how to eat a whole lobster properly making a really memorable experience for all of us highly recommended

I’ve eaten basically every lobster roll in mid coast and southern maine and this one is the best. Buttered toasty roll, choice of melted butter or Mayo, a smattering of greens lining the bun. The fries are extra great when you ask for them well done. A great selection of beers and non alcoholic drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating.
