NONONO Restaurant New York

I visited this place with 2 other people who have been visiting this restaurant occasionally. The foods were great, modern vibe, as a main, I ordered tantan noodle. the soup and noodles were perfect. couldn’t have expected better experience.

great vibes and great food and cocktails are VERY reasonable prices which is huge for nyc. not too loud either making it great for conversation. came here for a work dinner and it was immaculate. sushi is all very good and very fresh too.

I like the beef tongue most, so juicy and crispy!! Veggie skewers have interesting flavor combinations. And the duck skewer actually tastes like Peking duck… Overall love it! Better make reservation rather than trying our luck end up getting the last walk-in seat on a weekday!

I went alone on a Thursday evening without a reservation and had to wait for about 15 minutes as a walk-in. I sat at the bar, which was a bit small in size. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice, and the staff provided excellent and attentive service.

I ordered a small bottle of Suigei clear sake, which had a dry taste and was not too sweet. For food, I tried the recommended grilled beef tongue (a bit too oily), Chicken Oyster, grilled chicken cartilage, grilled Wings, salmon salad, and Shishito Wasabi. The grilled skewers were tasty, the salmon was fresh, but the last item, the wasabi, was really spicy. After eating two, I couldn’t handle the spiciness anymore.

Overall, I found the food delicious, the ambiance wonderful, and the service excellent.

Our dinner here was absolutely delicious! We loved the diversity of the dishes. Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was superb. The hostess was extremely friendly and offered us to drink while we waited for a table. Loved our entire experience.

Very good izakaya food. I loved the variety and the different cooking options. The service was quick and the food solid. I loved the egg shower. I thought the dashi broth could be cleaner for a now vibrant flavor, and the ramen in the contrary could have used a little more blending of the flavors. Overall I enjoyed the experience.

Arrived on a saturday at 9 pm and the restaurant was still bustling with activity. But we had a seat right away. The ambiance was really nice, and I really like the small touched like a menu book with pictures. Makes it easy to know what to order.

We got the tan tan ramen, yakitori (tongue, prime rib, egg and chicken thighs), scallop and uni carpaccio and the rice pudding for dessert and 1 beer. We shared this between 2 people and while the portions were a tad smaller, I think it’s perfect so we don’t overstuff ourselves. The yakitori can be quite expensive, because 1 stick of the prime rib is $9 and 1 stick of beef tongue is $10. So it definitely adds up. But I thought the yakitori were ok. The tongue was pretty chewy and the rest was nothing special. I loved the ramen the best though. It was creamy with a right amount of spice. The scallop and uni carpaccio was good but not worth $20 imo. I did like the pudding dessert at the end. It was an interesting dessert. Overall, we paid $100 including tips.
