Real experience
Had a group business dinner here and certainly would come back. We had our own room which was nice and private. The food and presentation was what you’d expect from a high end restaurant, delicious and fresh. A good spot for group client dinners.
Alfredo was extremely attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. The entire staff were poised, respectful, and helpful. Zuma is more than just a restaurant, it is a true dining experience that I believe everyone should experience.

What an amazing restaurant! I loved everything about it the decor, food, service, etc. the vibe of the restaurant is so sexy and glamorous. We ordered the rock shrimp, skirt steak, fatty tuna roll and everything was delicious. The waitress was so patient and kind. We didn’t feel rushed during our dining experience. The dessert was my favorite part ofcourse we had to have the iconic Zuma chocolate lava cake and it was the best. If you’re celebrating something special or going for date night this is the perfect spot.

Then comes the drinks! So delicious, fun and the options are endless (cocktails, wine, and my favorite sake which was delicious with my sushi) Finally the delicious sushi!!! I’m getting hungry again talking about it. The taste is on point and all options from fish, sashimi, sushi all taste fresh. Hands down the food is on point! If you are looking for client meetings, cocktails after work and special celebrations this place is it in NYC!!!

My partner and I had an awesome time celebrating our anniversary here. The food was fresh, and the staff made us feel really special for our special day by going above and beyond. Our favorite dishes were the sweet corn, spicy tuna roll, and the green tea & banana cake dessert. The non-alcoholic drink, yoshi nura was a refreshing highlight.
The only downside was our seating on the loud top floor. We would have preferred the more relaxed downstairs area. Despite this, our evening was memorable and well worth a visit.

My experience at Zuma New York was overall really nice. The ambience is beautiful and the food was delicious. My two favorites were the semi fatty tuna roll and the chocolate lava cake. As for the service, they were really great in certain areas, however there are certain aspects that could be improved.
On one hand, when the kitchen got delayed with my boyfriend’s main course (yaki taraba gani), they apologized and gave us champagne on the house (keep in mind that we lightly mentioned it in passing without complaining). On the other hand, when we wanted the baked cheesecake without cashew crumble, the kitchen refused. This was confusing because Zuma Miami was able to accommodate my boyfriend’s nut allergies with no issues.
However, we can’t really complain too much since we both really loved the dessert we ordered instead. I wish there was an option to give this place a 4.5/5 stars. I ended up giving this place 5 because 4 just seems too low of a rating for the food and ambience you are getting. Zuma New York is a great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.
