Real experience

We happened to find this place on google maps because we were in the area and luckily they had available seating outdoors on a hot Saturday afternoon. Everything on the menu looked good, my partner got steak and eggs with Moro rice and it was delicious.

I ordered chilaquiles for the first time and it was amazing. I ordered a mojito and it wasn’t the best I’ve had but I appreciate the heavy pour. By the end we switched plates and cleaned it. Service was good, indoors was packed but the noise level seemed a little too loud for me. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

The food was okay. Their AC was to the max so cold had to leave. My daughter rice was the end of the pan so it was crunchy, much rather have fresh rice. The garlic sauce was very bland needed some seasoning in it.

I’ve been to Coppelia multiple times, and it rarely disappoints! This visit was no exception. We started with the Tequeños and Frito Mixto as appetizers, and they were absolutely delicious. The Tequeños were perfectly crispy on the outside with warm, gooey cheese inside. The Frito Mixto was a delightful mix of fried goodness, bursting with flavors and textures.

For our mains, we had the Reina Pepiada Arepa and the Chicken Fried Steak. The Reina Pepiada Arepa was phenomenal – a perfect blend of creamy avocado and tender chicken, all wrapped in a warm arepa. It was filling and flavorful, truly a standout dish.

While the Chicken Fried Steak wasn’t the best I’ve had here, it was still decent. Considering my previous experiences with their food have always been really good, I can overlook this slight miss. Coppelia consistently delivers on taste and quality, making it one of my favorite spots.

The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Coppelia for anyone looking for a great meal with excellent service. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food, shocked that it’s a 24hr spot that has this high quality food and drinks. Very delicious with large portion sizes. Wasn’t hard to get a seat but was very busy in putting an order and waiting for food.

Fabulous food but very rude waiters. Barely talked to us. We’re rushed and manic and stressed. The bathroom situation is terrible.

Amazing food tho. Oxtail for the win and the soup was fire so was the plantain and yucca fries and corn and the lomi was but had too much soy sauce

The Lomo Saltado (pictured) was delicious, but a bit too heavy for one person unless it’s one of a few meals you have that day. A lot of soy sauce and olive oil (and some other sauce I forget what he said) on it, which is how I imagine it’s supposed to be made. The steak it came with is delicious, too. Interesting to have the Lomo Saltado since I’d never had it before, but I don’t want to be fat so I probably won’t get it frequently. They do have healthier options, too!

The appetizers left more to be desired but the main course was quiet delightful. They had one of the best Lomo Saltado I’ve ever had. The beef was tender and flavorful, the rice cooked well, and the whole dish meshed well with all the ingredients a Lomo Saltado has to offer. The other dishes were great as well as per reviews from my friends. I recommend this place give it a try.
