Dave’s Hot Chicken Restaurant New York Great experience at this iconic Dave’s location. The lines can get pretty long, but the workers kept everything moving efficiently. The sliders are also quite reasonably priced. Everything was delicious. A must visit if you are in the area.

Real experience

This is my third time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken, this is probably my favorite fried chicken spot for these reasons. The place is packed but people leave surprisingly quick, the food was amazing, I got a number 2 and the sliders were the perfect spice, not too much spice and enough to let you still enjoy the food. The service was very fast for the timing as it was lunch rush and they managed to make the food quick like that. the restaurant is very clean despite being in the city center with a lot of people eating hourly. Would eat here 100% again.

If you love crispy chicken sandwiches, it’s your spot to visit. We are not much into spicy food so we opted for medium spice level though we got a hot tender with our order, the spice had a kick but had that powdery, artificial touch to it.

We ordered Dave# 2, Dave #3 and Cauliflower sandwich.

We LOVED Cauliflower sandwich…it tasted delicious. It a must to try! Crispy from outside and soft and juicy from inside.

Everything was hot and tasted fresh. Loved their sauce too.

It was super busy. Had to wait to get seating. Overall nice experience.

It’s amazing to have quality halal food in Manhattan.

The food was good as we are not new to Dave’s. We have had it in 3 different countries and 6 states. The service was the problem. The lady taking the orders was pretty rude and short with us. Even though no one else was waiting to order, she kept rushing us and even missed our second milkshake. We went out of our way to get there to eat, so it fors bother us when service is not good. By the way, of the over 15 different Daves locations we have visited so far, this is my very first review under 4 stars. Food was good, but the sauce and coleslaw were very minimal.

WOW! The batter is so crunchy, the meat is so tender and juicy. The portion size is very decent. The spicy levels are pretty mild. We ordered Medium spicy and felt nothing. The seasoning on the chicken is very punchy and leaves a slight bitter after taste. Fries are also good, nicely seasoned. Seating is very limited so be ready to do take-out.

heard lots about this place . now finally had the chance to try. Quick service . I was there around 12pm.. wasn’t crazy busy. Also Not a big dinning space, Probably 12-16 seats only. Their burger tasted excellent. loved the soft fresh bread. I had hot spice level, and was perfect. it’s “all chicken” menu with Tenders and burgers, fries . would love to go back when visiting NY.

Literally a regular customer here! The sliders are a MUSTTT!!! The meat is always given in a big portion size so definitely worth your money and it’s tender, crispy and warm. Different varieties of heat to choose from very broad. Their sides are amazing as well the Mac and cheese so good definitely a must have in any order it’s very creamy and delicious. The staff is so friendly and quick. This place is a 10/10. Definitely will always recommend to everyone to check it out if you can!
