Real experience

Huge food portions and very tasty, everything here is so good I can never decide what to get. Staff is very kind and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is very family friendly and our kiddos loves the chicken nuggets kompot and French fries. The restaurant was recently expanded and made to look more modern yet still has a very authentic Poland – feel. I highly recommend checking this place out, by far the best polish food around chicago land

Loved our dining experience here! Staff were helpful about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. The dishes were delicious as were the beer and cocktail recommendations. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic. Servers were all thoroughly enjoyable. The atmosphere was uplifting (maybe a little loud). And the prices were very reasonable. We had a “guys night out” there last month. We ordered some side dishes as appetizers (perogi’s, dumplings, etc.) and then ordered a pork cutlet dinner with a couple of extra sides to split. It was our own little Polish buffet. We cannot wait to go there again.

Amazing food and even greater service! Servers are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for an enjoyable time in a nice atmosphere. Guests are generously greeted with a complimentary “smalec” (lard), bread, and pickles. Large portions of tasty food and some exciting cocktail options! The Hungarian potato pancake, Polish plate, and highlanders cutlet are particularly tasty.

They have some great options for specials, too! This is a good place for an outing with friends and family, for a date, and even larger parties. Beautiful interior and they even have a patio for the summer time. The restaurant tends to get busy on the weekends, but this is because the food is made fresh that many want to enjoy. Overall, this is a great place to get a taste of Polish food and culture, and to have a fun time!

Although Martin is a very generous and kind person, Martin’s work ethic is unquestionable. I have never seen a waiter handle his duties as efficiently and quickly as Martin does. He is truly an exceptional individual, able to balance his friendly demeanor with a high level of productivity. Martin always works with a sense of urgency and commitment.

Nice place. Modern vibe with traditional Polish food. Our table had pierogi as a starter and they were tasty and the dough was good. My wife has been making them for over seven decades, so I have a feel for them. I had the Highlander cutlet, very tasty, crips, but tender. Pork hock buttery soft, beef goulash with potato pancakes great.

We stopped in for a dinner after a long day and the food was flawless. The only thing that was irritating was the wait time at the end of our meal to get our boxes and receipt. I had to walk up to the bar and ask for it myself because our waitress got held up by another table. Other than that, amazing place with great food and atmosphere.  Definitely recommend.
