Good service, everyone was smiling and just in a good mood for working a Saturday afternoon! Got the chicken shawarma and it was very filling and flavorful. Mango lassi was also delicious, would get that drink again! A little pricey but was very worth it!
Great tasting Mediterranean food. Authentic. Genuine service with a smile. Lamb chops were so tender, juicy, and scrumptious. Great coffee.

The place is gorgeous, the food outstanding. I used to treat my colleagues to this restaurant every year when I was in DC for a conference across the street.
So I was excited to bring my husband here on our trip. It did not disappoint!! As good as I remember.
I cook Lebanese food well, so this was a real treat.
I think it’s the best Lebanese restaurant I’ve eaten at in the US (maybe tried some in 6 cities or so, including Detroit which is known to have a super large Lebanese community).
My salute to the chef & owner for staying consistently excellent & authentic.

It’s such an amazing place! It is so beautiful and what a great location. Directly across from the metro for easy transportation.
I’m not usually a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, but I absolutely love Lebanese Taverna. The hummus and pita are to die for. I’ve loved everything on the menu I’ve had so far.
It is a great date night or impress the clients place. I even got to meet one of the owners, and she was so nice. Great service and atmosphere for an upscale night out without a super high price tag. Very reasonable and probably even a bit under priced for what you get.
Definitely go there

We ate a delicious dinner at the Lebanese Taverna after a long day at the zoo. The service was great and everything we tried was perfectly cooked and flavored. We had our 3-year-old with us and she enjoyed coloring on the kids’ menus with the crayons they provided. The bathrooms were bright and clean plus there was an area of sinks for hand washing.
There was a nice variety of cocktails and beers including non alcoholic of both. You could eat at tables outside or indoors – our table was along the wall with a comfy bench seat. Bonus: the restaurant is directly across from the Zoo metro stop so after dinner our commute was quick and easy. This was one of our favorite places during our trip to DC and we highly recommend a visit!
