For the main course, I indulged on the 32 oz Dry-aged Tomahawk Ribeye, which was, without a doubt, one of the most amazing steaks I’ve ever eaten. The marbling was the most incredible I have ever seen, contributing to its perfect tenderness and rich, savory flavor.

This extraordinary ribeye was a product of Prairie Harvest Specialty Foods, known for their high-quality meats, and the beef was raised by Reminisce Angus Ranch in Dillon, MT, ensuring it came from pure Angus cattle. It was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth. The sides of sautéed spinach and crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon sherry vinaigrette complemented the steak beautifully, adding a delightful mix of textures and tastes.

But let me tell you about the bone marrow. This seemingly simple item on the menu turned out to be the star of the show. It was easily the best thing we tried during our visit. After the first two nights of going to steakhouses that were very underwhelming, our final night in Jackson hole we Went to the local. The ribeye was absolutely amazing and the 32 ounce tomahawk was as well extremely good! Although it was a little small, most likely because the bone was 12 to 14 ounces of the steak, it was still excellent. They have an extensive bourbon list, including Blantons, Eagle rare, old Fitzgerald, Weller antique and many other top and bourbons.

We had the huckleberry old-fashioned, which I anticipated being very sweet but Our server ( Kaylee) assured it would not be And she was absolutely correct. This was a fantastic drink to go along with our pours of old Fitzgerald. If you’re going to go to a steakhouse in Jackson hole, I went to three of them and this by far was our favorite. The seating is a little awkward in the dining room. I would highly suggest a bar booth seat. But an amazing restaurant.

Great spot on the main downtown square area. Easy to pop in for lunch any time of the afternoon like we did. Had a couple beers and cocktails all were on point. They weren’t overly busy, but bar service was a bit slow because I think they were preparing for dinner shift.

We weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a big deal but just a heads up if going mid afternoon don’t be Ina rush and you’ll enjoy. Had the steak frites for lunch.

Very nice large portion, I’d recommend asking to go light on the chimichuri, I like chimichuri but they really piled it on. They have lots of other dishes we saw come out around us that looked great also. Recommend!

I stopped by Local with 2 friends after skiing. It was around dinner rush but the hostess got us in fairly quickly. We were seated at the bar which is what we asked for. We loved all our meals. They have great options for all diets. The atmosphere is also very Jackson. Cozy local feeling. I got the veggie burger which was made in house and delicious. I’ll definitely return
