Went here for dinner and happy hour drinks, and we were amazed at the quality of the menu and wonderful service there.
The bison marsala was fantastic, we enjoyed a new yummy red wine, the pear salad was a highlight. Enjoyed the spicy vegetable linguine, although would prefer little less spice myself. Well trained servers and respect that they add an additional fee to offer a living wage to those who don’t receive tips.
The cost was definitely more than 10 to $20 per person for dinner, and well worth it.

This spot was perfect! We had Gunner for our waiter and he was super friendly, professional and was very knowledgeable on the menu. We got the Indecision menu which was perfect as we got to experience a bunch of different plates for quite a good price. We felt very comfortable and never felt rushed. We would definitely come back!
Delightful little restaurant tucked into the corner downtown. The atmosphere is quiet and quaint and the service was exceptional. The bison was amazing and also the Piri Piri Chicken with coconut rice, if you’re looking for something to excite your taste buds.

Don’t let the diner facade of this place fool you into thinking you’ll get diner fare. The chef is doing fun and playful things with dinner and I hope Rapid City appreciates it!
We went with the four course indecision menu (plus dessert) and it was a fantastic way to get to try smaller portions of more dishes. Highly recommend it if you can.
Highlights for us were the Pear of Hipsters Salad, Rooted in the Wild pork tenderloin, and Butter Me Up cake

What a good time, host was helpful and polite and Jarrod (bartender) was an awesome bartender even though the place was packed. The Hay Camp Czech he recommended was great! The food was great! I saw a lot of nice dishes coming out of the kitchen. Tight little spot but they make it work and everyone was so polite and helpful. If I am ever in the area I will be back.
AMAZING! When you come here get the 3 course indecision menu. You will not find a better deal in the whole city for 45 dollars. A delightful experience as the chef delivers their choice of dish from on or off the menu. I got a strand and lobster dish, a delightful salad, and a sea bass dish! High quality cooking and high quality ingredients! Service was fantastic with speedy refills and low wait times. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also quite nice! If you are in town make a stop here for a wonderful experience!

This is the third time I’ve eaten here and it’s always delicious food and attentive servers! It is always been pretty busy as it is directly across from the Alex Johnson Hotel in the downtown… And this particular Saturday morning was no exception, there was about a 15 minute wait but we were given a choice inside or outside. I would definitely suggest outside if you’re sensitive to noise great service!
Delicious and delightful! Had breakfast at this lovely spot during our stay in Rapid City and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! Our server, Gage was top tier and if I could give 10 stars for service I would as he was outstanding! Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal while you are in the area!!!
