Had the tips, link and fries combo delicious! Tips tender and succulent, link lean and flavorful however needed a little more char. Good fries just enough to share, will be back I just received great food from The Full Slab through Doordash. I live in Whiting, IN close to Horseshoe Casino. The Catfish was great meat, spiced well, and the Jerk Chicken is awesome! You’d better order the Baked Beans! Jason Coburn

I went when they 1st opened and it wasn’t tasty… but I decided to give them another chance. I ordered the barbecue turkey tips and I wasn’t disappointed!! The meat was tender and the barbecue sauce tasted pretty good. The side order of greens and string beans were ok The staff was pleasant and greeted me with a smile .Overall the service and the food was good The staff is friendly and everything was fresh. That’s important to me, because a lot of places give you stale food. We will definitely be eating here again. Next time I want to try the catfish and the brisket. Yum!

The sauce on the ribs was amazing ribs were extremely tender and l really enjoyed the flavorful side of beans. The coleslaw had a bold taste not bad but different. I would definitely go back l also met the owner he appeared to be very friendly, gracious and humble. I am delighted he opened a BBQ resturant in the community

Ok. So we all know it’s hard to find a GOOD BBQ spot in Chicago nowadays. My brother told me about this bbq spot on stony island and it’s sooooooooo good!!! Prices are very reasonable and the restaurant was clean. Food was made with Love. Portions are good a size. Get the tips and chicken and fries and links. Finger licking good. Sauce is amazing Exactly what you expect from top notch Chicago BBQ.
Tender ribs, rich sauce, jerk chicken was yummy and the catfish cooked perfectly. Lots of great sides and they have some new menu items coming soon. Going to go back and try the brisket and the pulled pork. Nice people, black owned, go and support! Merry Christmas!
