Real experience

My family decided to try this place after passing it dozens of times, we’re glad we did! The food is reasonably priced and the portions are good. We were really surprised by the generous size and variety of toppings on the side salads.

The food was great, we loved the creamed carrots that came as a side. The servers were very kind, happy to answer questions, and as a cherry on top got us to-go cups for our drinks! Parking is in the rear, and there is plenty of seating inside. Good atmosphere with knickknacks and sayings on the wall. The playlist was great and we all enjoyed the variety of songs.

The place itself is adorable, and despite the sign asking for patience due to them being understaffed, service was good and relatively quick. The food presentation was ON POINT. My barbecue chicken salad looked AMAZING. However, it didn’t taste as good as it looked. The chicken was dry and there was just something missing in the flavor. My husband felt like there was something missing from his chicken fried steak as well. However, the pancakes and ham from our daughter’s kids meal was delicious, so we’re thinking that breakfast may be the best choice. I did also get a shake which was really good.

This place never disappoints! We’ve been here several times for both breakfast and dinner and it’s always delicious! My kids especially love the sweet waffle, which is piled high with fresh strawberries and a scoop of ice cream.

The Rusted Spoon is cozy and busy. We were able to get a table within just a few minutes around 5:30 pm. food was delicious and hot. Although we typically don’t eat our entire plate, there were no leftovers this evening. We ordered breakfast and lunch items, all of which have good flavor and mouthwatering aromas. If you are looking for a quick place to grab a bite, whether by yourself or with your family, this place does that.

The Rusted Spoon in Perry was GREAT! The food, the service and just the place in general was AWESOME! BEST hash browns we’ve ever had!! Way to go Rusted Spoon staff!!! The owner greeted us and was super welcoming! Our server Kyla was totally awesome! And they even offered gluten free toast!! Can’t wait to come again!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Service was great, it’s where locals go and the food was certainly a reflection of the local flavor and spirit. Decor and feel was like coming home to the family which was nice. Food was yummy. When you order a scone, be ready for yummy fried bread, not the usual British or even usual type scones. With the honey butter it was tasty. The salad we had was ok, would have liked a little more variety of greens not so much plain lettuce, but it was still good. Omelet was great!

Me and my wife stopped in here for brunch and the service was a little slow because Sam, who was totally awesome and totally deserves a raise because she was totally on top of a bunch of people being there, Was the only server in the restaurant. The food was really delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy and my wife had the crunchy french toast (the toast is rolled in frosted flakes before cooked). We also had a scone which was delicious!
