Beatrix restaurant Chicago Really lovely brunch spot! Food is excellent and service is laid back and not pushy. You might have to wave your server over but you have time to chat and enjoy the delicious food and drinks! I’d definitely return

Real experience
We went for Saturday brunch. We had made a reservation to eat outside and due to rain they moved us inside. Our food was very, very good and we both enjoyed our choices. I had the spicy chicken tinge, which more spicy than smoky. It was lovely! The pancakes were sweet and lemony
The cinnamon, maple matcha was lightly sweetened with earthly favors with a nice cinnamon after note. While the food was very good, our service was just sufficient. However, we’d be happy to go again

Loved the breakfast/lunch selections. Great location and open dinning area. The staff were very friendly and followed COVID Safe Guidance. I had the “Ten Grain Oatmeal and Multigrain Toast”, both dishes were very good. The toast was thicker than I anticipated, so I could only finish two of the four pieces. The Drip Coffee was good and hot and I appreciated the quickness with refills. I recommend visiting for a meal if you are in this area

I visited Beatrix for brunch on a Friday with some friends and everything was amazing. We got a mixture of brunch and lunch items and it was all delicious. We also got lattes and they were very good. My favorite was the white chocolate pumpkin latte. I highly recommend ordering the honey butter cinnamon bun for the table as well (if they’re not sold out)

We visited here for brunch but didn’t order the traditional brunch style food. poke bowl was definitely beyond my expectations, I especially loved the bamboo rice. The drink there was great, too. The service was fast and high quality given how busy they were. I look forward to returning soon

A very popular brunch spot, or really anytime of the day, in the River North area. They serve a decent number of classic breakfast dishes but have good looking lunch and dinner menu as well. I’d suggest making a reservation or be prepared to wait even on a weekday.
Food
I got the prime burger and was satisfied it. The buns were my favorite part and were nicely toasted. The cheese melted on top of the patty added some nice flavors. Good amount of vegetables to balance it out. Fries were good but nothing too special.
I got a fresh made lemonade as well and would recommend it if you are looking for something refreshing.
Atmosphere
The place is bustling with people and lively. Noise level was not loud though. There are nice views of the street and perfect on a sunny day to get brunch with friends. The interior is nicely decorated.
Pricing
Prices were average for food in Chicago and worth the food quality.
Service
Service was great. The server was overly nice saying that I had to wait too long for my food even though it came out promptly.
Other
I would make a reservation if possible because there will be a wait at this popular spot.
