Real experience

Love this place! Always perfection! Celebrated my birthday as well as my daughter’s! We were treated like royalty as well as our entire group. We all agreed Clayton Steakhouse ranks as well or above Angus Barn, Ruth’s Chris, etc! So nice to find a fabulous steakhouse locally.

We have been going to the Clayton Steakhouse for years. The food is always excellent! The desserts are wonderful. The service is always friendly, professional and attentive. We went on 5/16/24 for our anniversary. We had not been in awhile.

When we arrived, we were taken by surprise by the remodeling. The Steakhouse has always been a rustic and the ambiance very nice. But with this new all white paint and taking out the wall that separated the Steakhouse into one area being a little more quiet than the front was odd. Last night that ambiance was gone.

It was too bright and had the feel of a diner. Although the food was excellent the whole experience was off. I truly hope the owners will try and see the Steakhouse through the patrons eyes and make some experience changes and take it back to that relaxed, not diner experience but not too fancy feel. I hope the owners understand that patrons are looking for a place that offers not only excellent food and service but an experience.

We went on a Tuesday evening and I got the prime rib special. My fiancé got the ribeye. He asked for it medium and it was cooked perfectly. With your entree you get the salad bar, a side and Texas toast. Everything on the salad bar was fresh. They have fresh baked pies as well. I would have liked more blueberry in the blueberry pie but it was good.

The dinning area is pretty quiet and calm. The tables may be a little close together for some but we were fine.

We had a Great first visit at Clayton Steakhouse!! We made reservations and definitely do recommend it to avoid long wait times. Both steaks were cooked perfect!! Salad bar was loaded with options and super good! The home made desserts were on point!! Strawberry Cream pie and Coconut pecan pie!!!! We will be back!!

I have been wanting to try Clayton Steakhouse for quite some time now. My wife and I made a reservation for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess and seated almost immediately. Our server, Lisa, was fantastic.

Service was top notch and fast! The ribeye and filet my wife and I ordered were both cooked to perfection.

Both steaks were cooked evenly all the way through. The salad bar was fresh, and their homemade ranch may have been the best I’ve ever had. Lisa went above and beyond to ensure we had the best dining experience. We will definitely be back!

 The sirloin was very flavorful as I tasted his steak. My salmon was outstanding, the flavor was so good. Also the spinach side was great too, not over seasoned but very fresh tasting. We really enjoyed the meal. The service was just as good as the meal.
