Real experience

Last night we stayed at the Home 2 Suites by Hilton, located next door to the Stockman’s Restaurant. We asked the Receptionist where we could find a good dining experience. Kaydee immediately recommended Stockman’s Restaurant.

Thanks to her recommendation we had an amazing culinary experience at Stockman’s. When we arrived there was a half hour wait so we chose to have a drink at the bar while waiting. The bar tender, Brody, was very efficient and personable.

He took time to educate me on the various Scotches. I really appreciated that he took time, even while he was busy serving his other clients. His recommendations were just what I was looking for …. a new tasting experience! The menu offered a multitude of mouth-watering dinner selections, With help from our waitress we were able to customize our preferences.

The meals, including presentation, were nothing short of amazing. Thanks to the knowledgeable and friendly staff, my wife and I enjoyed a first rate culinary experience at Stockman’s. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a 5 Star dining experience.

Our waitress obviously didn’t care much for us, it took about 30 minutes to even get a drink, and she never brought water even… it was towards closing time, but still could have been better to our table! Food was delicious! But the steak wasn’t seasoned at all which was disappointing. Cheese curds were delicious!

Found this steakhouse on Google and was not disappointed. Ordered the sunburnt mussels as a starter, and it seems like a weird combination initially but worked out very well. Had a medium rare fillet mignon with a crab/ hollandaise type sauce, and it was fantastic!

The fillet was 10/10, and the phrase soft as butter never resonated so true. Side caeser salad, mashed potatoes with white gravy, jalapeno macaroni and cheese, and dinner rolls all hit the spot. Stopped by on our way through Idaho and it was definitely the right choice for a good lunch. Mostly a steak house but they do have sandwiches and other non steak options. Service was great and the food was hot and fresh. I definitely recommend the sweet potato fries served with honey butter.

My favorite restaurant in Idaho Falls! My husband asked a couple of months ago, where I wanted to go for our anniversary. I immediately answered, Stockman’s in Idaho Falls! It’s been several a couple of years since we had been. We made a reservation, drove the couple of hours to get there. Even with freeway construction we made it 15 minutes early. It was just as I remembered it! Just delicious!!! Plan on Sweet Potato Fries! No one makes them better!!!

Great food. Fun decor. Service was great and happy and friendly. We went at the busiest time of day, but the estimated wait time was exactly what they quoted us. I Would recommend ordering a temperature or 2 warmer on your steak than you normally would. Everything tasted great from the rolls and sweet butter clear through desserts.

What an amazing steak restaurant. Stopped in with some friends and had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and on the ball. Kept our beers coming and full. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Thank you and hope to see you again soon.
