Real experience

The service was excellent, even though it was busy on new year’s day for brunch. Their fried chicken is tender and juicy and perfectly cooked. The skin is nice and crunchy but not overly breaded. Their grits are my favorite item on the menu, even though it’s a side.

However, the chicken & waffles are perfect as well. The waffles have a little crunch but aren’t too overdone, and their interior is moist and has a great texture. If you’re into getting a cocktail, their drinks are ALWAYS good. I especially liked their blueberry mimosa this time. Honestly, it’s worth the money and making the effort into going. I would recommend getting reservations if you go, because it’s pretty popular.

What an excellent all around experience at Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen and Bar. And of course some amazingly prepared food for any palate. The ambience and the service was top notch. Very comfortable atmosphere and the wait staff was friendly and accommodating even with moving from their well decorated balcony to their spacious indoor seating.

Room for small to larger parties. And what a great location for a good meal for any occasion. Our waiter also came with great recommendations for any appetite. We had the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich and the shrimp and grits. Both plates came out timely and were packed with some amazing flavor. Our current favorite dish is the Shrimp and Grits. So many amazing flavors packed into a perfectly portioned dish.

And of course washing it down with their well crafted drinks made for a great meal on a beautiful day in downtown Boise. We cannot wait to come back to try more and get a bite of some of their mouth watering looking desserts!

This is a great stop for some southern food. We got the cast iron pork, fried green tomatoes and 2 biscuits. The pork was tender and savory. Battered fried green tomatoes served on top of sauce completed the craving. And the biscuits were better than any other in the valley! The atmosphere was like all open restaurant seating. Service fast for the food.

Was here for a Brunch and Books bookclub. Great service and amazing atmosphere. Had coffee, a Mega Mimosa, and spicy chicken and waffles. Odd combo for sure but it all went together like a mysterious puzzle and was PERFECTION! Our pre love day celebration included dinner at Tupelo Honey. We stated with feied green tomatoes and grits. Remindedld me if visits to the south to see my relatives. YUM!! We also had the Cast Iron pork, broccoli, and the “oh my I love it” biscuits. A couple of. Ictails and a jovial sever made this a wonderful goodgasm experience.

Charis our waitress was perfect in every way. Made great suggestions and she elevated the vibe of this restaurant. Had the shrimp and grits and was the best I’ve ever had. Great mimosas, we loved the blood orange and lavender blueberry. Steak and eggs were perfectly cooked and BOMB potatoes. Thanks Charis!
