Fish Cheeks Restaurant New York

Very delicious fusion Thai food! If you are a spicy lover the curry crab and steamed fish are highly recommended. The cocktails are Thai special too. Nice staff and good service. Great dining experience with my friends

Fish Cheeks Restaurant New York menu

Perhaps one of the tastiest place in the world. The appetizers were amazing – from the corn salad to the most delicious chicken wings ever (They should branch out and serve wings and Thai iced tea only)! The entree of crab fried rice and steamed fish did not disappoint as the fried rice were parallel to Ding Tai Fung fried rice and the fish was super fresh and tasty. Overall, perhaps the best place I’ve enjoyed in the past few years dining across everywhere…completely blown away by this place and good thing not Michelin rated otherwise more people in the queue

Fish Cheeks is great! We ordered the “3 crab shrimp”, “pork cheek”, and “steamed fish”. All superb! The one chili spice indicator should be heeded. That is enough to give you a kick but not overwhelm. Everything is very well flavored. We also had the singular desert and the punch drunk love and tongue & cheek cocktails. All great! Justin was great and helped us pick dishes and drinks. Definitely coming back again!

The food was just okay. However, it was not worth it for the price. The crab fried rice ($28) was good, but nothing special since there were very few crab pieces in the rice. The steamed fish was good, but not $40 good. The corn salad was expensive too, for the portion price and just for the food in general. There are better Thai restaurants in NYC for better prices.

This was one of the best thai restaurants I tried in NY. First of all the server was very nice and recommend really well. The scallops is very refreshing as an appetizer and also the oyster. It’s funny they served some fried onions for the oyster, though I love fried onions, i dont think it went well with the oyster. The curry is great but the fish? AMAZING! They have the same base as the scallops and the green sauce in the oyster and it taste fresh and amazing. The fried rice? OMG! Very well made! Not too dry, too fried, too oily or to mushy. Just so amazing!

I also ordered the thai tea. So good. And as always, i get to order the dessert. The mango sticky rice is nice. Nothing too special. But the ice cream??? OMGGGG THEY ARE SOOOO GOOD. With a little jackfruit in the ice cream and some young coconut which I’m really surprised they hve it. And they also come in sticky rice. Surprisingly it didnt turn hard as it touched the ice. Overall a great visit. Me and my BF had been planning to visit again later.

finally

Absolutely loved their old menu and I miss their calamari time to time! Because thats the best calamari dish I’ve ever had/have. Cocktails did go well with food that we ordered! Haven’t been there after they changed the menu and I’m excited to go there soon
