Real experience
One of the better brunch spots in the city, make sure you make reservations because this place gets packed! The vibe inside is great and the service is spot on. Would recommend starting off with a dip before you choose a brunch item. The shakshuka was delicious and would get it again. Looking forward to my next time since there are a few other dishes I’d like to try out!

Arrived around 10pm, we were super hungry and everything exceeded our expectations. This meal was magical and delicious. Perfect for sharing plates. The hummus creamy, the meat tasty, the salad with a special dressing and variety of delicious greens. We were served super fast and the waiters were super helpful since we asked specifically for anything spicy. The atmosphere is also super nice. Don’t hesitate on coming here.
Arrived early for our reservation and sat at the bar for 15 mins before they seated us. Hostess checked in with us multiple times on the progress of getting us a table. Staff very attentive all night. The food was very very favourable and the atmosphere was wonderful. Will mark this one down for a return visit when in nyc!!!

Whipped feta + pistachio dip was definitely the highlight of the night! Best dip I’ve had. Little bits of pistachio adds nice texture to the creamy feta. So good.
Fried halloumi was perfectly salty and savory. The cheese boureka was but more like a dessert-like for me. And we got sirloin steak and grilled lamb kebabs with saffron rice. The grilled lamb was super tender and juice! And the saffron rice was definitely a surprise because it was just so unexpectedly good!!! The service was of course great and nice ambiance too!

There are many fantastic brunch spots in NYC, but one that consistently receives high praise is Shuka. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is excellent—particularly the bartender Ilker, who offers delicious menu suggestions. Be sure to try the Hummus + Merguez and their signature cocktail, Petra, which is refreshing and full of flavor. You won’t be disappointed!

Okay, I’ve been here a few times now and Shuka does not disappoint. I’ve been with a large group of friends and by myself. This latest time was by myself, I sat at the bar. The bartender was sooo friendly and was very attentive my entire dinner. The drinks were so good and the food is always delicious. They have a great wine selection. It’s a great place to share plates if you’re there with a group. Get the Shuka feast if you’re with 3+ !
I had the gin/cucumber drink and 2 glasses of one of their wines.
The dips are a great start, specifically the beet one. I also got the meatballs and then the shrimp kebab. Honestly everything was so delicious. I wish I had room for more. Finished the dinner with their olive oil cake. The absolute perfect dinner. Can’t wait to go back. Shuka should be a must visit on your list.

Wonderful beet dip and lamb..fish is good too. The bartender here is so awesome, sweet and knowledgeable. Service is quick.. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Will return again soon.
