Real experience

Great spot for a light and creative lunch, or dinner date. An easy to navigate menu with cheap and interesting drinks and some stand out appetizers – notably the chive dip. The interior is low key stunning and service was quick and friendly.

I love hand rolls/temakis. These do get a bit further away from classic hand rolls though with fried oyster and shrimp tempura on the signature set. The basic ones they do offer felt a bit too basic. I personally prefer the ones at Domodomo. But it’s a great dining experience and would very happily come back.

My friend and I did not like the sets offered so we decided to create our own which is priced a la carte so heads up about that! We ordered x.o. scallop, cucumber black sesame, fried oyster temaki, toro + scallion, and yellowtail + scallion. The scallop has a kick at the end but super flavorful! Fried oyster was the best because all the right textures and flavor blended so well with one another. The sushi rice for the toro and yellowtail was saltyyyyy, but the quality of the fish made up for it.

Overall, a good hand roll sushi place in West Village that offers nice fish quality, but be mindful that you might still leave hungry if you only order one set! Attached is also the menu of the sets for your reference

I got the signature set, which I would recommend if it’s your first time. Everything is well prepared, yummy, and fresh. My favorite from this one is the coconut shrimp curry. I also got the brunch set and really enjoyed this one. It’s very fun with a variety of things I wouldn’t really think of or get in a hand roll place. Surprisingly, my favorite piece from the brunch set is the avocado one. The outside is very crunchy, sucha fun texture with the avocado.

Very busy on the weekend. Would recommend having a reservation. If not, they could do walk ins but be prepared to sit outside/not at the counter, which is what I did. I personally would prefer to sit at the counter for the experience.

lovely place, a bit crowded must make a reservation and plan a head. tried to come few does ago and it was full waiting for 2 hrs and 45 minutes. got the classic set and the signature set. I loved the signature set! we also got the uni, was great. we aldo got the tempura mistu from the appetizers they were great as well. Edwar B was great helped us with the ordering and made sure to explain every order for us. definitely coming again and recommend to try!!

The first time i came here i was a vegetarian. I have been here a few times since they’ve opened and since i started eating fish again and the menu slightly changes throughout the year. The seasonal pieces are worth a try. My favorite pieces are the tuna, black sesame, and the scallop.

I liked everything I tried, the lobster was incredible though, I could have a dozen of them. The portions aren’t the largest but the quality was so high that I’m happy to order a few of them. They also have a great vegan section of food as well as the whole menu is gluten free. I would make a reservation because it fills up quick.

This place has the cutest indoor decorations and also offers outdoor seating, which is perfect for a sunny day. My friend and I ordered the signature set, and it was amazing. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite, and it was surprisingly filling. We also enjoyed their soju cocktails, which were a great addition to the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience!
