Real experience
This place is fantastic! Best dinner ever and I am a foodie. Each dish is an explosion of flavor. Each bite is a chance to combine ingredients in a different way and have an experience of rich taste. The chef definitely planned the flavors to create a nuanced delight for diners.
Even if you don’t approach food this way, you will not be disappointed. We ordered the Ahi, Venison and Duck entrees along with pork belly appetizer.
Meats cooked to perfection, service and views are unsurpassed. It is worth every penny. They accommodate dietary restrictions and have gf options. JUST GO!!! I will return without a doubt.

As other reviews mentioned, we got the first seating at 5:30, which meant we had a prime spot. It was a bit overcast when we went, but on a sunny day, the sunset view would be priceless. Even so, the palm trees, impeccable staff, and Hawaiian sky made for a lovely dinner.
At the recommendation of our server, we had the shrimp appetizer. It came with three shrimp in a butter and onion sauce and was the perfect serving size for a sharing plate, especially since we both ordered a main dish and planned to share dessert.
We had the Opa (the fish special) and surf and turf, and I highly recommend the latter! We debated between the crème brûlée for dessert but got the OK mud pie.
As others mentioned, save some room for the sweet potato dinner roll with honey butter, they are incredible with bits of sweet potato in the middle.

This place definitely impressed from the purple sweet potato rolls to each deliciously-crafted entree. The only picture of the bread I got was of one lonely bun because it was so tasty it disappeared quickly. The inside was actually purple with some chunks of sweet potato and went great with the simple salted butter.
Every dish was packed with flavor and just done very well.
Their sauce game is on point. The pork belly was tender yet had a nice char and slight crisp on its outside; the fish dishes both tempura-ed and not were wonderfully seasoned while still maintaining the flavor of the fresh fish.
Service was also A+, the setting was beautiful, and making a reservation was a breeze.

Overall the atmosphere was amazing, great for a celebration, especially the seating close to the beach! The service was amazing and they even wrote congratulations for us on the plate. Such a wonderful experience that I would never forget! The food was good, but the dessert was pretty disappointing and did not reach expectations
This is our third trip to the island and we always make sure we eat here. The service from everyone involved was outstanding. Tremaine (so) our server, was absolutely exceptional. The atmosphere and music very romantic. Pear salad was tasty and refreshing. Fish, very fresh and cooked perfectly. We are never disappointed at Browns Beach. I feel it is a bit pricey and a bit higher than our last visit. However, everything is pricey in Hawaii.

Absolutely nothing but praise for this establishment. 5-star service all around! My wife and I ate here for our anniversary and were in awe of the quality and presentation of the food, the friendliness of the staff, the amenities of the facility, and the young Hawaiian man performing love music.
finally
It’s a beautiful place with good food. We enjoyed the live music as well as the gorgeous sunset. While on the pricier side, I definitely think you get what you pay for here. The ube rolls that come with your meal had me howling like a dog.
