Real experience
Amazing food and ambiance. The wait and patience for the reservation was definitely worth it. The restaurant is very small and intimate with a great bar. The infamous lasagna was very filling so definitely go with a group of 3 or 4 so you can order more dishes. Highly recommend!
Fabulous experience. It’s so hard to get a reservation here, we ended up lining up 1 hour before opening on. Tuesday and snagged a seat at the gorgeous bar. Service was lovely and the drinks were incredible. We had the cheesy garlic flat bread, the chrysanthemum salad, buffalo milk caramelle, Japanese sweet potatoes and the famous lasagna, every dish was amazing! The restaurant is so beautiful and the food is so delicious it’s absolutely worth the fuss to get in here.

The restaurant is bustling no matter which day and time of the week. The food truly deserves five stars. The chrysanthemum salad was a nice surprise. Don’t sound so appetizing but turned out to be delicious! The refreshing leaves paired so well with the crunchy nuts and creamy sauce and cheese. The iconic lasagna is differentiated from a regular one in that it’s lighter and has a nice structure – very thin sheets of pasta that preserves chewiness, less salty meat sauce and a satisfying amount of cheese. The mussels pasta has a nice tangy taste, balances the lasagna nicely.
The service was a bit rushed because they were trying to turn our table. Waiters came to ask whether we were done many times even though we were just one hour into the meal. The noise level was a bit high, had to raise my voice to be heard.

4.9 stars! The chrysanthemum salad was the bomb! All of our dishes were great including the BBQ calamari, lasagna, mussels, and sourdough pastas. We had all three deserts offered and they were fantastic too— especially the strawberry sorbet. It was simply the best I have ever had. Our server was delightful and efficient. I’d consider this a can’t miss.
We walked in on a beautiful late spring Wednesday evening, and they were able to seat us within 15 minutes. The fare, familiar italian classics executed to perfection, are sensational. But we are writing this review to go out of our way to compliment our server, Cesar. We were surprised and delighted by this thoughtful attentiveness and kindness, he truly made our night and experience at Don Angie special. We will be coming back thanks to him.

We had a really nice dinner here! My brother in law got married and we had a reservation for a private room and it was such a nice experience. May and Josue were exceptional and I enjoyed talking to May throughout the evening. The food was outstanding. Highly recommend coming here!

This place is famous for a reason. The lasagna is as good as people say. But other dishes are excellent too. Try the cauliflower with Frank’s Hot Sauce. And the calamari with fried rice. And an especially yummy Tiramisu.
