Awesome food! Everything is fresh, the carnitas are fresh, Nogales are nicely prepared, and the chicharron was the softest I have ever had. The staff was nice and provided quick service. Pricing was not bad either

Delicious carnitas, a lb feeds 2 people. With cuts from the pork belly, rib, shoulder, throw in some chicharrones and it’s a flavorful experience. On the weekends, coming at anywhere around noon means waiting up to 30 minutes for a table or maybe 15-20 for takeout. If you’re getting a table make sure to go in and write your name down on the dry erase board. Worth the wait either way.

Great carnitas! Ordered by weight. The location in Pilsen is for takeout orders only. Salsa comes with your order of carnitas (pictured) but not the tortillas. Portions are served well. We got the weekend special corundas (pictured) which came with plenty of salsa, crema and queso.
Hubs had the tacos dorados and liked them. Staff was friendly and asked what type of carnitas we wanted (pure meat or pork skin/organ meat). Meter street parking. Very small inside and the door is not handicap equipped. There was a pick up window but we didn’t use this service. The only downside with our order was that we didn’t get napkins or forks.

The best tacos I’ve ever eaten wow the meat and everything is so tender, the lady in the front gave us 2 free chicharrones to try! SO GOOD recommend 100% best spot everGo early! I got introduced to this carnitas restaurant with takeout that my assistants used to bring to work. Liked it so much, would ask them them purchase extras for the office on their way to work on Saturdays. The meat is well seasoned and tasty, and I especially like the pickled vegetable you can purchase to eat with.
