Real experience
This is an amazing spot in New York with a view of the Empire State Building. The service couldn’t have been better. They were running late due to an event and the host explained this to us and was so apologetic- even offering us a cocktail on the house for the inconvenience. Once seated, we ordered some “small plates” (not small!) to share which were really tasty!

An exceptional dining experience! The food, from tacos to burgers, was delicious. The ambiance was great too. However, the only downside was the hostess’s attitude. Despite that, the waitress provided impeccable service. Definitely recommend for a memorable meal! Also it’s located right in the heart of Manhattan, with a breathtaking view of the Empire State Building.
Beautiful rooftop restaurant with a great view of the Empire State Building. We were able to soak in the sun whilst having a delicious lunch and some fantastic cocktails. I really loved the Mac & Cheese and the staff which were really friendly. Definitely worth a repeat!

The Refinerey Rooftop was beautiful at night. Quite the view with the Empire State building twinkling in the background. I will be honest, despite having a reservation, we did end up waiting for our table. However, we really couldn’t complain because they gave us complimentary drinks for our patience. And the service was so lovely, I have to give props to each and every one of the staff. They were very kind and attentive. We ordered our food and drinks, and we received them all promptly. They were delicious. We enjoyed our dinner with some nice music.

Excellent views and service I dined here for my birthday and I will be coming back plenty of photos I took with my camera I have yet to post. Thank you for making my birthday so special with your generous staff and perfect atmosphere the fact your staff brought out my cake while the Empire State Building was glittering was nothing short of perfection. It will be a birthday I will remember for the rest of my life. I LOVE YOU TO THE END OF TIME NYC. The red white and blue for the rangers game was a pleasant surprise also. No better city or skyline in the world! New York State of mind!

The Refinery Rooftop was such a great experience, we had to repeat it. The service, hospitality, and food were top tier. Tina, the General Manager, and team displayed a warm and welcome atmosphere. The bar was the place to be with mixologists Declan. We had an array of selected adult beverages, that matched and paired well with one after the other. We had the pleasure of receiving stellar service from both Ellie and Jason.
The design and layout is breathtaking and did I mention that the food was amazing. Please try the spinach dip and the double patty burger.
This was truly “Cheers”, where everyone knows your name. If the Hotel any resemblance of the rooftop restaurant, I will have to cheat on my Marriott loyalty and reside at the Refinery. Shout out again to Tina and Declan for making us Atlanta folks feel and taste the best parts of Manhattan, we will be seeing you again. CHEERS!!
