Food is delicious and drinks are too. I would expect to spend a nice amount on dinner, but it’s river north so you already know that. I will definitely continue to go I would suggest making a reservation as soon as you think about going because they fill up quick This place is unmatched lobster tacos, steak tacos, guacamole. So authentic so amazing. Favorite Mexican restaurant and we love the west loop

Taco Tuesday was fantastic. The guacamole had great flavors and was very fresh. The agave drinks were on point and we’ll crafted. Great vibe and great customer service If you want authentic Mexican food, try this place in downtown. It’s good and try agave shots, I personally liked the choclate flavor

We ordered take out from here. While the chips and salsa portions are tiny compared to most Mexican restaurants, and the rice and beans are nothing to write home about, the tacos are aaaamazing (even if a bit over priced). The fish tacos are especially good. Will order again, but will probably skip the chips/sides

Great food, great atmosphere alittle pricey but food justified it. Got the margarita tequila and that was also amazing. All I recommend is to not sit under their vents as in the summer condensation from the vents could drop on you or your food

Visited La Josie during restaurant week, and the prix fixe menu did not disappoint. Los tamales de Mama Josie were my favorite items. I split the Colorado and Rajas con Queso with my wife – both were really tasty, and plated attractively. I give a slight edge to the Colorado. The quesabirrias were really tasty, and came with a little cup of consome for dipping (I recommend this meal).
But, i think our favorite part of lunch was the cocktails… our server was great with suggestions. I told him that I’m in the mood for something citrusy, but didn’t want a margarita. He recommended El Jardin, and I absolutely loved it (mezcal, boomsma cloosterbitter, mint, jalapeno, lime). I also had a privadita, and my wife had the espresso martini. All three drinks were phenomenal.
The drinks aren’t cheap, but we know that the drinks on Randolph are never cheap – so prepare yourself. Great spot. I wish the music was a little heavier on the latin side, but it was good, upbeat, and the perfect volume. The food and drinks were all amazing the staff was really nice and helpful. Tried the el guapo, and the meechaladas and meechaladas were definately the best in Chicago. The food was flavorful. A lil bit pricey but for the location and the flavor not bad. Definitely a goto. Also go to rooftop
