"Discover Nora Lees: A Hidden Gem in Delaware"

Nora Lees Restaurant Delaware Food is made to order and mostly from scratch. All was very good-crawfish popcorn with creole sauce and the pistachio encrusted chicken was delicious!’ House red was good. Ask for the spicy margarita to be made skinny-so good and less sweet!

Real experience
I loved everything about this little restaurant! The atmosphere was so warm and Cozy and the service was amazing. I loved the honey habanero wings as an appetizer, and the blackened chicken lunch entree! I’ve never had hush puppies before but these were amazing- the mashed potatoes I wasn’t a huge fan of the consistency was off to me but overall I loved it here! I will be back again 🙂

After work, I wanted to treat myself to a great meal and great drinks. I found this restaurant randomly clicking around Google maps. The restaurant itself is warm and welcoming. The energy is great, the servers and hosts are friendly.
Food:
I ordered the blacked scallops as my appetizer, and they were perfect. It was hard not to devour all of them, being the fact I wanted to save room for my main entree. They were perfectly seasoned and paired with a great honey mustard sauce. (Between u and me, I used the bread to scrape the leftover sauce it onto my too go plate). My entree was fried catfish with chicken jambalaya.
Everything was perfect. It wasn’t overly spicy, and the catfish was fried so perfect, it made that crispy crunch sound. I also ordered voodoo crawfish to go and I am excited to try them when I get home.
Drinks
I ordered the Açaí Berry Cosmopolitan and a pomegranate margarita. Be careful, their drinks are so good, you may forget u are drinking liquor

Lived in New Castle pretty much all my life, never knew this restaurant was there by the park. Me and my husband decided to check it out one day and man we have no regrets, the food was absolutely amazing! The drinks were perfect and the portions were great! Yes it’s a bit expensive but to me the quality and size of the food was great for the price. The atmosphere was great! I highly recommend!

Food was excellent!! We had blackened Alligator sausage with Cajon sauce served over rice and bourbon crawfish tails with creole sauce also served over rice. My only complaint is that it should have been presented with a spoon and separate plates. We had to use our bread plates and a fork to get it out of the bowl. Both appetizers and the bread were awesome!!!

We wanted to try a different restaurant for date night and we came across Nora Lees and decided to give it a try. We don’t regret that decision the food was absolutely delicious, our waitress Patty brought all the vibes making the experience that much better. At the end of our meal the chef even came out so I could compliment him on how awesome the meal he prepared was. We will definitely be back especially for the blackened honey mustard chicken I couldn’t get enough of!
The server was so considerate and friendly and it was clear that she loved the restaurant business and cooking and Nora Lees. She told us how passionate the owner is and does most of the cooking herself.
There are some great vegetarian options including vegetable jambalaya and veggie nachos with beyond meat.
The mashed potatoes were incredible.
It was a great experience to eat and feel the atmosphere. Great jazz music at the bar.
