Delicious crab & shrimp bisque followed by some of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. And of course, a lava cake for dessert Service was terrific our waiter was Bob helpful when navigating the menu. The shrimp and crab soup was delicious muscles were great with a nice sauce. We had Mahi and white fish and both were delicious. I like the fact that they have more than one or two fishes I’ve got a variety of fish to choose from. And all were fresh. Another great factor in going to catch 35 is they have music 5 days out of the week with a singer. This was a great dinner the place was beautiful

I’ve dined at this restaurant multiple times over the years when I’m in Chicago. It’s a great place to go for seafood. I’ve always been impressed with the service. Nothing bad to say about this establishment, and can’t wait to go back!

Went here for Restaurant Week. The menu choices were good, and the food was high quality and tasteful. However, the host at the door did not greet us or the group in front of us when we walked up to him. In fact, he ignored us while talking to another staff member and didn’t acknowledge either group with a considerate, “Hi, I’ll be right with you.” It was an unwelcoming feeling. We were ignored at the bar as well for about 10-15 minutes, trying to get a drink while waiting for our table, although they were not very busy. However, our waitress, Karen, was very friendly and the food came out to our table quickly.

I brought a friend during a weekday for their Restaurant Week lunch special. The decor feels a bit outdated, but suits the style of service I suppose. The wait staff was very attentive though it got very busy. complimentary bread is wonderful; warm with a great crunchy crust. I ordered the lobster bisque; wasn’t very flavorful and lacked a lobster flavor. main was really good but came out lukewarm and cooled very quickly. Dessert was decadent, as expected. Overall, a great deal, but not so impressed that I’ll think of it often

Great restaurant. I came by for dinner during my visit to Chicago and was really happy with the outcome. We arrived for happy hour between 4pm and 6pm, all their food is half off. I had the octopus and mussels which I enjoyed. I chose the lemongrass mussels and the broth was fantastic. Overall I had a great time, the service was great, the space was clean and stylish, the food was delicious and the ambiance was very relaxing. I recommend this restaurant.

Great space, wonderful service, and downtown location. Perfect place to impress your date, in-laws, or colleagues. I have the seafood chowder, the grill plate with shrimp, lobster tail, and salmon, with the oreo crust cheesecake. Others at my table had the steak & cake, cedar plank salmon w/sauté spinach, key lime pie, and flour-less chocolate lava cake. I did not like the fact that is was a cold night and we were sat right at a huge window we were quite chilly and I had to wrap my scarf around me. If I do go back I will request better seating, our server Issac was great and the rest of the wait staff was so kind and on point.
