Real experience

The buffalo chicken sandwich was outstanding, as were the cheese curds and and wonderfully delicious beer battered cod, and tots really! And the pull tabs are fun if in the gamblin’ mood! Also tasted some sweet potato fries with their original honey mustard. And here’s the kicker: The bill ended up being no more expensive than feeding the same number of people earlier in the week at Pizza Ranch. Obviously, this was so much better. What an incredible value. Thanks for a great evening!

I had the chicken chili. It was delicious. They have a decent selection of beers beyond the usual swill that is served everywhere else. We shared a pizza. It was good. I didn’t particularly care for the flavor of the sauce, but that is just a matter of personal taste.

Everyone else seemed to really like it. The cheese was a little light for my liking, but again, everyone else was OK with it. There was a fair amount of toppings evenly distributed across the pizza. We ordered the meat special, which includes pepperoni, sausage and I forget what all else. The service was very good, not surprisingly because we were the only party in the dining area, but our server was very pleasant and friendly.

My family got to talking to her about the change of ownership of the place and she had nothing but nice things to say about her bosses, the owners. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I don’t see the chicken chili on the list to recommend but I do recommend it. It is very tasty.

Great atmosphere and good drinks!!! Live music on a Friday Night was excellent! The food was ok to be honest but everyone is different. The goose calls were good and bowls were a bit different which is always good and my wife liked the Hawaiian Bowl but was a bit spicy. The fish fry was just ok but the coleslaw was good! I was a few burgers pass by and they looked awesome so I would definitely go back again get a burger and have some more old fashions!

We are visiting Green Lake from Boston and needed a quick lunch. Goose Blind was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our server, Erick, was welcoming and attentive. If we come this way again, we will be sure to stop by the Goose Blind!

Great bar. I stopped in during my solo trip to Green Lake over New Year’s Eve. Friendly staff, great food and the ambiance of a local ski lodge. Pickle Chips were great, as well as the the Cowboy Burger! Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

We really enjoyed the Green Lake area. We were on a family camping trip in the area, and while we were exploring the town, we found the Goose Blind Grill. We all liked our food.

The food and servers were excellent. We had just walked out of another Green Lake restaurant because after 15 minutes, the staff could not even acknowledge us. We had the opposite experience at Goose Blind. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, our servers were wonderful, food was great, and we were acknowledged as we were leaving.
