The Getaway Restaurant Florida incredible location, with great views. Loads of seating with multiple bars but it was so busy on the weekend we couldn’t get a table at the restaurant, so we just had appetizers all night.

Amazing atmosphere and so many options for seating. Great view. Tuna sandwich was good but I opted for a side salad instead of fries (which comes with the meal). But the salad was very small and came with a store packaged salad dressing… and an unreasonable additional charge to switch to side salad. They forgot my utensils too. Server was nice but slow service. Would

Beautiful location overlooking the water. Food was fantastic and service was efficient. Multiple seating options including huge covered area with lots of tables and bar seating. We sat on the sand facing the water. Crab stack was by far my favorite selection.
Conch fritters were good, as well as the shrimp po boy. Wings were excellent and the coconut shrimp is paired with a delicious orange marmalade. My eyes are set on the lobster tacos which I will be returning for in no time. Cocktails were made well and we honestly had no complaints!

I found this place by accident looking or coffee. Lol There’s a coffee shop next door. And you can walk straight through to the Getaway in the back. ‘
I love it here! The bartenders and servers are awesome, Abie-the bartending manager is amazing, the view is lovely. I had the guacamole & shrimp ceviche tostada-which was refreshing, flavorful and refreshing. I had the coconut cold brew for desert….so yummy!
From now on, every time I come to St Petersburg, Florida to visit my sons, I will come here. I can’t wait to move down here next year! The Getaway will be a part of my favorite restaurants to visit on a regular basis!

Awesome location and view. Friendly staff, good music and good food. You can’t beat it. We come here frequently and have never been disappointed. There are kayaks and paddle boards for rent right next to the restaurant. Grab a drink, relax, and enjoy the mangroves, manatees and dolphins. Definitely a little paradise. You won’t regret it!
Need more words in my dictionary to describe our time at The Getaway! Food was good-fish dip, tacos, drinks okay… but the atmosphere and Lauren our waitress made the experience!! It has five areas in which ‘you pick’ to sit and enjoy your time there. The view is gorgeous, right on the water, boat coming and going, a little beach for ‘the kids’. Simple a great ‘island time’ experience.

Awesome location on the water with several bars and thatch tiki umbrellas to sit under. Saw several dolphins swimming next to their pier and docks.
Margarita and buffalo chicken wrap were both good. We tried the buffalo cauliflower, which was good, but half of it was still frozen. The server took the item of our bill with no hassle.
Drinks and food are a little pricey but well worth the amazing atmosphere.
Kayaks and paddleboard rentals are also right next door.
Awesome place. We sat for about 25 minutes before a server came to us. They weren’t busy and I had to go talk to somebody but once we had a server it was great. Food was awesome. Woulda been a 5/5 if it wasn’t for the wait. Also kinda expensive. $60 for two meals and an appetizer.

This place is truly a Getaway! When you walk in, you feel like you’re somewhere tropical. The place is very roomy with a wonderful view. There are two separate areas/bars. You can see dolphins, manatees and stingrays. We were there on a cold and rainy day and still loved it! I had the lobster empenadas and wasn’t wowed. I also had the chicken tortilla soup and it was delicious. Our server was amazing!
