Casual atmosphere but first class dining experience. The food was excellent- the burger I had was dry aged and packed with flavor. I also got the creme brulee which comes with three different flavors to try (raspberry was the best). I was seated quickly and the service was quick and attentive. The only disappointment were the non-alcoholic drinks which were child-sized, non-refillable, and almost $10.

Went last night with my wife, for a first real restaurant experience since COVID started. Sat outdoors in a perfect location, thanks to an attentive maitre d’. Service first class, and very well trained. And food was excellent. I give three stars because of two significant shortcomings in the dinner, neither of which should be acceptable in a ~$280 meal: (1) the Carre d’Angeau was both extremely tough, and nearly raw. the waiter saw I was having trouble cutting the meat, and brought a steak knife, and even that could not get through it. Very disappointing, especially since the rest of that plate — including especially the pureed roasted eggplant with roasted cauliflower and aubergines mix was to die for!

This was fine dining as advertised. Service was impeccable and very friendly. Water glass never half empty, which is my litmus test for attentive waitstaff. The food was extremely well-prepared with skill, arrived very hot. The best French onion soup I’ve ever had. In particular, the cheese did not glop up in the throat like some, and you know what I mean. Very tasty. The setting was refined and romantic. This was our 17th anniversary and we were very pleased. Would definitely return
