For appetizers, the bread with lemon butter, king salmon crudo, and the mozzarella cart were simply out of this world. The bread was the ideal combination of light and crunchy, while the lemon butter added a divine, zesty punch. The salmon crudo, with its rich sage, and roasted vegetables set a high bar for what was to follow. The homemade mozzarella, made right in front of us, was a showstopper, blending seamlessly with kumato tomatoes, Spanish olive oil, and basil for an exquisite taste sensation.

The main courses – the Torchio nero ali arrabbiata with tender octopus and the spaghetti al Limone with blue crab – were both masterpieces of flavor, offering a perfect balance of spice, rich tomato, and refreshing citrus notes. To cap off an already perfect evening, the hazelnut panna cotta with dark chocolate and guava provided a decadent yet not overly sweet finish, with subtle savory bites and a silky texture.

We were so lucky to get a reservation. My husband and I were visit from NJ and I found this place on IG. They were fully booked, but we decided to stop by and check bar seats and lovely hostess had a table available for us. The ambiance was great, the lighting, decor, music, everything was just perfect.

We ordered most of the things on the menu, because we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to try all the dishes. And I am so happy we did that. The best dinner experience I’ve ever had. Excellent service. Fenomenal food. Well deserved Michelin Star. Outstanding! Can’t wait to go back!

Dinner here was hands down the best food we’ve eaten in Tampa.  The floral painted plates set the tone of eating in Nonna’s kitchen. It’s a beautiful homage. Every dish we tried was seasoned to perfection and built with a delightful amount of complex layers in flavors and aromas.

My personal favorite was the kohlrabi: elements of earthy sweetness, acidic yet soft, briny, crunchy, soothing. There were a few small things that could have made the experience better for a 1 star Michelin restaurant, all having to do with continuity. How/when the dishes were placed on the table. Most of our food arrived rapidly that we had six or seven dishes on the table within the first 5-10 minutes. It was very overwhelming.

Our server thankfully slowed down the pace so we could digest before the last two pasta dishes arrived. Some team members didn’t seem to know seat numbers as my husband’s cocktail was delivered to me. And very minor detail: the bread bowl is served with hot and toasty sourdough next to cold focaccia. Both were incredibly delicious but would be seamless if everything was warm.

This is a Michelin Star restaurant and you can tell when you eat here. There is a lot of attention to the details. That said, the service seemed to lag a bit and it was odd that we were seated right next to the kitchen where there was a lot of banging going on when we first got there.

But the food was amazing! We ordered the mozzarella cart, where they prepare fresh mozzarella table side, describing the entire process, including where the ingredients were sourced. I ordered spaghetti limon with blue crab as my entree. We had to get a slice of olive oil cake, which was delicious! It’s a great restaurant but plan to make a reservation to get in.


Amazing dinner from the delicious food to the attentative service. We celebrated our birthdays and they made us feel special. The mozzarella was amazing as we’re our entrees and desserts. The staff was knowledgeable and answered any questions.
