Himalayan Doko restaurant Washington Beautiful décor, great for groups. Food was fantastic! We ate family style and had curry chicken, lamb Karachi, butter chicken and chicken Tikka masala.

Garlic Naan Bread, Salmon Fish Tikka, Chicken Curry

This place has amazing food, vibes and staff. The butter chicken, naan and rice were especially delicious! Everyone was very attentive and friendly, Hassan made sure that we were well taken care of and that we had a nice experience. They all care about everyone who walks in and it shows. The owner Kazi is a wholesome and kind man who gives back to his community feeding the homeless whenever they come in which is so amazing to see and makes a difference in the world that needs so much light. I can’t wait to come back my next time in D.C.

Amazing Restaurant serving delicious Indian and Nepali Dishes. Samosa Chaat was flavorful; Bhutan (Nepali Dish) was superb. Loved Goat Thakali; everything was great. Friendly service.

Very good food, and the prices are reasonable. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. Portions are a good size, so if you do an appetizer and main, you probably won’t be able to handle having dessert.

We were hungry after a trip to Planet Word nearby & decided to give it a try. Sure glad we did. Yummy & delicious ! Full of flavors, the chicken Himalayan curry was sweet and savory, butter chicken was super good. Tandoori prawns unbelievably good as was the Tandoori chicken. Everything was freshly cooked to order and scrumptious. Can’t wait to go back.

I had a good experience in Sakina Grill on this Labor Day. Me, along with my wife, ordered two chicken biriyani, and even though it was slightly heavy, we managed to finish it all. Taste was so good,(especially with raita).

There is no better experience than trying something totally new and having it turn out beyond expectations. In my case, eating a Nepalese dish at Himalayan Doko for the first time in my life has produced that satisfaction in me. Not only has it been the extraordinary taste of the food but the extremely friendly attention of the staff is what would make me return to this place a thousand times. I loved the atmosphere, the decoration that reflects its tradition, and the neatness. It will definitely be “a must stop” whenever you have the opportunity to visit Washington DC.

I had a fantastic experience at Sakina Grill, an authentic Pakistani restaurant. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and the staff was courteous and helpful. They accommodated my request to make some changes in the menu. The food was excellent, fresh and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the chicken karahi, which was fragrant and rich. The price and the portions were reasonable, and I felt satisfied and happy after my meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Pakistani food or wants to try something new and exciting.

Food was pretty good. They aren’t able to make accommodations on anything. The a/c wasn’t running and it was hot and humid inside. Pretty sure the fries are cooked in the same oil as things with wheat flour so not gluten friendly. We’d come again maybe, if they just fixed the air issue. Was very stuffy.
