Real experience
Modern French cuisine in an Art Deco masterpiece. Service is unobtrusive professional and prompt. You won’t be disappointed, Excellent for special occasion dining on to celebrate Friday This cozy gem of a restaurant does not disappoint. The service is exceptional as most of the staff has been there for years. The chef creates creative and imaginative dishes that are delicious and exquisitely prepared and presented. There are so many intriguing options from which to choose at each course and you will find yourself wanting more at the end even though you are so satisfied. Probably the best French restaurant that I’ve ever been to.
The kitchen can accommodate allergies and preferences easily (which I don’t always experience). The ambiance is cozy and relaxing . You can dress to the nines or business casual and feel at home with the cozy fireplaces and eclectic décor

Put environment and service aside, the taste of food itself is really not that outstanding. Well, of course it is good, but not what I expected for a fine dining restaurant like this. Especially the lamb main course—it is totally a disappointment. But anyways, their foie gras is really really good, probably one of the best that I ever had in the US. Their dessert and starter are not bad as well. Not to be offensive to anybody, but their customers are mainly elder people. So do expect that classical vibe (from both the diners and the deco). Service is not bad. Descent. Probably won’t come back again. The experience just doesn’t get me

Ron, our server, as well as the other servers were incredibly professional but Ron took it to a whole new level. Engaged in genuine conversation. A+ there. The food was spectacular. Probably some of the best food in Chicago if not the world. No complaints here. Give it a try if you are in Streeterville

My wife and I visited Les Nomades for the first time this past Saturday evening and it was spectacular. This is an old school French restaurant from top to bottom. Excellent food, excellent wine list, impeccable service — attentive but not cloying — subdued light, white tablecloths, wood burning fireplace. The place exudes understated elegance you just won’t find anywhere else. Jacket required, it just fits the mood of this wonderful place, but they aren’t stuffy at all.
A genuinely nice staff dedicated to making your visit a memorable one. To top it off, I inadvertently left behind my credit card and the staff mailed it back to me along with a card, hand-penned in calligraphy, thanking us for coming and wishing my wife and I a happy new year. Even something as mundane as forgetting your credit card affords an opportunity for style and grace at Les Nomades. This place is at the top of the list of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. If you’ve not been there by all means go. One of the most memorable dining experiences you can have.

One of the best in Chicago. The asparagus and mushroom risotto is fabulous and smells like spring. The oxtail consomme is hearty and reminds one of Pho broth. Souffle is the best I have ever tasted. The inside has a foam like texture and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back. Service was also flawless. The food was definitely worth the steep price tag
