Real experience
This is a true fine dining experience. The atmosphere and ambience is extremely cozy and elegant. There was a pianist playing the whole night we went, and there’s a fireplace crackling in the lobby area. My girlfriend and I came for Valentine’s Day and we both got the steak fillet, which is exquisite. It’s cooked perfectly, and comes with the most delicious mashed potatoes.
You could come here just for the mashed potatoes, they’re that good! We also got some wine, crab cakes, and desserts, all of which were delicious. Our server, Kacey, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, professional, and accommodating. 10/10 experience! Definitely recommend.

Amazing experience. We were wondering where the heck we were going when we were going up the canyon but we’re on awe at what we came across. The ambiance was incredible, the food was great. I thought the cocktails were only okay, but they had some great wine choices.
We had a great time and will definitely be back the next time we are in SLC. I love shooting at this venue! I am a wedding photographer and videographer and my team has shot here countless times. The lighting, backgrounds, and nature here is unbeatable.
There are so many spots for great photos like the waterfall, pond, and canyon and the staff is always super helpful to the vendors. I would highly recommend this venue if you want great wedding photos/videos!

Dubbed “Utah’s most romantic restaurant” for a reason. Had a wonderful Valentine’s dinner here. The snowy, wooded drive up to the restaurant is magical and there’s a beautiful waterfall on the property, so try to come when it’s light out to get that experience. The food was terrific.
The whipped potatoes were probably the best I’ve ever had and the elk steak was phenomenal medium-rare *chef’s kiss* Great atmosphere to bring a significant other. They have a variety of menu options and drinks; you should be able to find something you’d like. The service was exceptional. You can find the restaurant by driving up through Millcreek Canyon. Log Haven provides a free valet parking service.

Excellent experience at Log Haven! Fantastic setting with beautiful music and forest views. The service was outstanding, with excellent attention from the server. I had Elk that was well prepared, and an apple dessert. Both were delicious. Definitely worth a visit for fine dining. You won’t regret it! We had an extraordinary 3rd wedding anniversary celebration accompanied with our 19mo toddler, we loved the entire experience here! Thank you Log haven staff ♡
