Real experience
I have to admit to something about this place. I ate entirely too much!
Tonight I had the mushroom sachette with calamari and a bowl of seafood chowder. It was all delicious! The prices have quite a wide range here. There are some steak dinners going for almost $50, but most meals are priced in the teens to low $20’s. The mushroom sachette I had was $16, with an extra $5 to add shrimp to the plate.
They also have a reasonably good wine selection. Although I am ashamed to admit that I was unaware that this was National Wine Day today. I was enjoying the local craft brews instead.

It was a nice little spot for some Italian food! The price was a little higher than I was expecting, but because of the quality ingredients, I’m not complaining. The fresh bread was delicious! It was busy today so service was a bit slow during lunch. The venetian was good, but not outstanding. I liked the chickpeas in the salad. I also loved the incorporation of another local establishment to supply their desserts! Was not a big fan of the stuffed mushrooms, they were a bit sweet for my liking.

Stopped at the start of New Year’s eve. We were lucky to get in quickly as it was busy. We had the wedding soup which was excellent, a house salad (more substantial and varied than most) and each had a different special. Husband had the parmesan crusted halibut and I had the blackened mahi mahi. Both entrees and their accompaniments were excellent.
We had a (very reasonably priced) bottle of Earthquake cabernet to accompany everything. Best part was the service. All servers were excellent but Gracie who served our table tonight was particularly outstanding. We would come again and ask to sit at one of her tables.

Really good experience. It’s got a great location. The restaurant was clean. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The menu has quite a few options so about anyone can eat there. Our food was good and the prices were fair.
Absolutely amazing food and service. The price is higher, especially if you want to have the full experience with appetizers, salads (highly recommend the Caesar salad with the dressing made tableside) entree and especially the desert (raspberry cheesecake is a must)… but so worth it! I live out of the state but made a point to come back again after stumbling across it 2 years ago. The 2nd time was possibly better than the first!

While in the Morgantown WV area I had lunch at Oliverio’s in Bridgeport. The restaurant was extremely lovely. I was seated immediately and my waiter was extremely nice. I ordered Meatballs with Ricotta Cheese and Fresh Basil and Marinara Sauce. I also ordered a cup of Onion Soup with Homemade Garlic Breadsticks and Half/Half Tea with Lemon.
The food was amazing! The service was amazing and the restaurant was beautiful. I definitely would eat here again!!
finally
The atmosphere is amazing. Definitely gives Italy 🇮🇹 vibes. Our waitress was fantastic. Never went without drinks & she always made sure we had everything we needed. It is an upscale atmosphere & food. Prices are comparable to the amount of food you receive.
