Real experience

The menu seemed just as extensive as we remembered it (albeit the print is much smaller). We reminisced over the menu items that were standard from the past Clara’s outings. My husband settled on his old standby of the Cowcatcher Burger; I had the Quiche Lorraine with a House salad, creamy bacon dressing on the side. The food and service were exceptional. It was a joy to be reacquainted with Clara’s in the Battle Creek iteration. We will return in the future.

First time dining in at a restaurant in Battle Creek and the experience was great! This is an old train station turned into a restaurant. Loved the ambience and the service. Our server was super friendly and always smiling! They have a wide selection of food and beverages, with reasonable portion sizes. They have decent number of vegetarian options as well. There is plenty of seating and they even have a fireplace, which was pretty neat. Definitely worth checking out!

Clara’s has been on my list for quite awhile. Our visit did not disappoint! The menu is extensive, so there were quite a few options to choose from. Everything we had was amazing. Our server was awesome as well. We loved being able to walk around and get a feel for what it had been in the past. Absolutely did not disappoint!!

Our service was wonderful. The menu was very large and had many different options to choose from. The dinner was okay. Nothing overwhelmingly good, but not bad either.

An absolute gem! The building has so much history, being an old train depot. I love how they’ve kept it so original, yet added a modern touch. Everything was clean, the food was fantastic, great service, very affordable too! We had the Sunday Brunch Buffet, and an added bonus was a chef making made to order omelets, and fresh waffles!!

Stopped in before the Bret Michaels concert. First time here, service was great and food was excellent. I had the Chicken Tortellini and the stuffed bread stick. Very good. We also had the spinach, crab, artichoke dip with tortilla chips. Definitely be back and recommend!

Great place to stop for a leisurely upscale lunch just off I-94 in the Detroit-Chicago corridor.

This is our go-to restaurant for out of town guests, especially when we can’t agree on what to eat! The menu is HUGE, something for everyone, and it’s all delicious. They did a lot during the pandemic to keep the place running, take-out food, and keeping staff employed. This is my favorite restaurant in BC, not just for the fantastic food, but also the wonderful staff who work there!

Great food and environment. Staff was very friendly, went out of the way, to make sure we were taken care of. I had a wonderful Fajita Salad. The coffee hit the spot! It was so good. Also have tried the chicken nachos. They were very tasty.
