Big Fish Grill never disappoints. Quality seafood, and great service, especially at the bar area. The raw oysters are always fresh and delicious. Always get the flash-fried calamari to start as an app, or the lobster spinach dip. The grilled soy sesame glazed day boat scallops are out of this world.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Big Fish Grill on the Riverfront, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food – every dish we ordered was nothing short of fantastic. Despite being a bit on the pricey side, the quality and taste of the food made it worth every penny.

I couldn’t resist trying the spicy shrimp and crab pasta, and I’m so glad I did. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and even though it was filling, I couldn’t stop myself from finishing every last bit. The fact that our entire group of 7 could comfortably sit at one table added to the conviviality of the evening. The staff, including our waitress, were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout our meal.

The overall ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, creating the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening with friends and family. If there’s one thing I wish, it’s that I lived closer to this gem of a restaurant. I can’t help but think about returning for another delectable meal. Perhaps I’ll have to use the excuse of visiting my sister more often as a reason to indulge in the wonderful offerings at Big Fish Grill on the Riverfront. Highly recommended!”

I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. Although we faced an hour wait due to the dinner rush, I highly recommend making reservations to avoid the wait. Instead, we decided to sit at the bar, which offers a full menu and turned out to be a fantastic choice.

The raw bar’s oyster selection was truly delightful, and the drinks were expertly crafted. While some of the dishes on the menu might be on the pricey side, the quality justifies the cost, and there are more budget-friendly options available as well. I opted for the catfish and swapped the asparagus side for broccoli, and I must say it was a delectable choice.

The portion was generous, and I even had enough to take home. Parking was a breeze, adding to the overall convenience of the evening. This restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with excellent food and service, making it well worth a visit.

The server was helpful at describing the menu pairing options to help me find my ideal meal (i.e. fish paired with salad). I had the House Salad with Blackened Scottish Salmon. Over the years, I’ve eaten an lot of salmon cooked by a lot of people at homes and restaurants. This was probably the most delicious salmon I’ve ever eaten. It was amazingly tender and flavorful. The pairing of the savory fish with the freshness of the salad was a delight for all five senses.

I’ve always had a good dining experience there. This latest trip was for the Thanksgiving Day buffet. This was the first time we tried it and I’m glad we made reservations this year. It was a nice outing and break from cooking. The family members who went along all enjoyed it!
