Real experience
This spot was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was warm & ambient on the outdoor patio. The food portions & taste were incredible, could not recommend this place more I got the salmon and it was bland. The steak was really good, you can never go wrong with steak. Service was not the greatest they can definitely do better. The potato leak soup was really yummy. Overall not my cup of tea wouldn’t recommend

This was some of the best food I’ve ever had! The baguette with the butters and garlic confit set the expectations high from the get go and every other dish after that was equally amazing. Definitely would recommend, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. Also just a really great attentive staff and a welcoming space. Everything was outstanding start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy but classy.
Covid precautions were clearly taken very seriously here which is great. I work in the industry and was wowed again and again by each course along with the service. Cat made our experience exceptional she was knowledgeable about the wine and the menu and was there just enough to make it perfect! Shout out to the Bistro Campagne team you guys crushed it

Absolutely amazing French food in a craftsman interior aesthetic restaurant. Service was great; I had the Steak Frites and I’m already dying to have it again I recently dined at this restaurant and had a delightful experience overall. The ambiance was cozy, the service and drink selection impressive. The desserts were a highlight. However, I must mention that the mussels were a bit grainy and …

Had dinner here for a date night during Chicago restaurant week. Everything was spectacular. We had the French onion soup, mussels, poulet roti forestiere, steak frites, crème brûlée, and pain perdu. Everything was done perfectly and service was also amazing. We’ll be back after restaurant week for sure.
The courtyard is lovely! Such a nice environment for a celebration dinner or something special. The hibiscus margarita is very delicious with a nice floral aroma. The escargot is kind bitter. Mussels are amazing. It’s heaven like to dip the baguette in the mussel soup. The main entries taste great- chicken is juicy and tender and I really like the crispy skin of the trout. Out of the three desserts, the creme brûlée is our favorite

As a perfectionist who doesn’t believe in anything being perfect, I found it hard to give any critiques to our Bistro Campagne experience. Our server, Alexander, did not miss a beat. Every bite of food was exquisite. We enjoyed the escargot and mussels as an app. Then we split the steak frites and salmon entrees. Incredible. I also highly recommend the Spanish Harlem cocktail. We will be back again.
Great courtyard dining and country French cuisine. A great neighborhood find by accident during a long city walk. Recommend a lot!! Amish chicken is soooo tender, moist and yummy. Mussels are wonderful with baguette bread for dipping. Deserts are awesome
