Slim’s Restaurant One of the best burgers I’ve had!!! Burger was well made and HUGE. I definitely recommend curly fries over regular fries.

I came here and ordered their double cheeseburger with fries as well a chocolate shake. The burger was pretty good and I liked their homemade fries. Would definitely stop by here again if I’m ever in the area. Nice little hot dog shack. Stopped in for a Chicago dog and it didn’t disappoint. Wish I had been hungry for more as their menu looked so good! Definitely want to try a milkshake next time.

this message goes out to the people that live in the area next door to slims or around the restaurant The food is phenomenal there I love the atmosphere it’s right there on Montrose we’re just even easier it’s next to the Montrose train station stop which is even cooler so you looking for something to eat go there immediately

Hands down this place gets better every time I eat here. Their double cheeseburger is second to none and if you really feel like you want to go into a food coma, the slim is going to put you there. A must order is the elotes with their spicy mayo sauce (which is actually spicy). Not to mention, their staff is awesome and very nice, and extremely patient since I couldn’t figure out how much of the menu I wanted to eat.
To mother nature lovers, it’ll knock your socks off. To halal eaters, right place, anytime. To everyone else, Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed – If you are, don’t tell me. Just make a scene with management, I’m sure they’ll sort you out.

I liked this place. The workers were very nice. The restaurant is very small, has about four booths but when me and a friend went in we were the only ones in there. The food was solid, a bit expensive but pretty good. I got the cheeseburger combo with a strawberry shake and regular fry. The fries were way too salty and the burger was just okay. I’ve had better. I also got the mozz sticks, they were beer battered which I’m not really a fan of but my friend liked them. Overall I would come back and probably order something different and ask for light salt on my fries.

If you want to quench your burger cravings, you can never be disappointed with Slim’s. It has very tasty and juicy burgers, especially their signature burger, “The Slim’s Burger”. It also offers a variety of sandwiches, like a chicken sandwich and an Italian beef sandwich. They also offer homemade soups and salads. If you have kids with you, they have a kid’s menu, which includes hotdogs with fries. Milkshakes are also available, as are desserts like vanilla ice cream. They also offer chicken wings in barbeque or buffalo flavors. What I like here is that the burger patties were not frozen; they were freshly made from scratch. I will definitely be recommending Slim’s to my friends and relatives.
