Windjammer Restaurant Vermont

I don’t eat here very often because it’s expensive but it is well worth the money and something you should experience every now and then is a good restaurant.

The food is amazing, especially the steaks. I don’t eat seafood so I can’t comment on that but I have never had a bad meal. The staff is super nice and the atmosphere is wonderful..also a good selection of music.

It’s not affordable to eat here frequently but when you are able to, it’s well worth it for the experience alone.

Highly recommended. Enjoy life a little

Atmosphere was nice. Friendly staff. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Featured cocktail was great. All the food was delicious. Don’t hesitate and try out this place! I would come again.

Drinks: Bee’s Knees and Total Eclipse of the Art
App: Bruschetta and Fried Calamari
Main: Filet Mignon and Boneless Ribeye
Dessert: Raspberry Donut Cheesecake

Super great food! Best steak I’ve had so far this year. Incredible clam chowder. Order the loaded mashed potatoes. Also, great cocktails. Maple Manhattan was deliciously sweet. Our server, Gwendolyn B, was phenomenal and helpful. Highly recommended.

1st of all our server Zach was super awesome and very personable. Ok now let’s start with the place….it was huge and very cool inside with the decor. We were sat exactly at there 5pm dinner service by the time we left there was a tush in almost every seat. Now lets go to the food…..it was me and a buddy and we like TO EAT….we had Crab Cakes(awesome) the Statler Chicken, the Filet special, blistered Brussel Sprouts, Creamed Spinach, Lobstercargo and we also got the Asian salad with shrimp and the Harvest salad with Chicken to take back to the hotel for a late night snack.

I can’t express enough how good everything we ordered was,I mean just delicious. I live in East Quogue Long Island NY and my boy lives in the Catskills and both of us will be making a trip back to ski and most definitely will be stopping at The Windjammer again! 5 out of 5 in my Dining with Dan reviews!

This place is always top notch everytime I go. I wish I knew the waiters name because he was phenomenal. Great atmosphere. No reservation and they seated us right away. I’ve been going here for 20 years and I’ll keep going. Thanks for dinner!

Reviews were mixed so I was skeptical, but it was right across the street from my hotel so we checked it out. I was sooooo pleasantly surprised. Easy to make a reservation, seated as soon as we got here. Louie was informative and friendly.

Extremely prompt as well (we were headed to a concert at higher ground after this). I am a foodie and a picky one at that. I love to be impressed at restaurants and was so surprised by this gem. The windjammer is so much bigger than I expected.

The staff is used to a large capacity and moved efficiently. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The duck was a tiny bit Over but the sauces and sides more than made up for it (very juicy despite being a tiny bit more than I would have cooked).

The brussels, spinach and broccoli were perfectly cooked and delicious. The rolls were soft and hot with high quality flavorful butter. The lobster lobstercargo was inventive and a major hit (dip your bread in the flavored hot butter) and the scallops wrapped in bacon were a great start. We also had the grand boulevard as cocktails which were strong and flavorful. Very impressed !
