My love for Julian’s is profound, built on countless brunch visits, when I used to live around the corner, that have never ceased to amaze. It’s a place where brunch is taken to another level and meets a heartwarming atmosphere that’s cozy, and expressive with tons of extraordinary artwork to check out while you dine, creating an experience that’s both delightful and memorable. A perfecf spot for a late afternoon lunch. We had the short rib Benedict (amazing) and the chicken and waffles (as good as some of the best I have had). Julian’s better be on your brunch list if you are in PVD!

The food was really good, and in an area hard to find breakfast, this is definitely the top choice. However, I’m giving it 4 stars for two reasons. The hostess seemed genuinely annoyed that we were there asking for a table of six. We were more than willing to wait the 45 minutes and were overtly understanding of the wait time, yet she still made us feel like a nuisance. I am not sure if it’s just the type of hipster restaurant that really dislikes being busy, but they should definitely have a friendlier person greeting at the door.

The second reason is the waitress was pretty bad about coming back to our table after serving us food. My husband never got a refill on his water, but the coffee guy came back many times. I think maybe they just aren’t prepared to be busy and that is really the only reason I’d give 4 stars. The food was very good and it’s definitely a neat space with funky decor. The rest of the staff were great too.

My favorite place for brunch in the Providence area. Food is amazing. Great service. My only issue is how noisy it sometimes is because of the echo when people are talking loud. It won’t stop me from coming back. The traditional Benedicts are great but always take a look as the specials.

Everyone was so friendly even though it was Easter Sunday. The staff really embraced the day. The food, OMG! We were not expecting to go here for brunch. I’m very happy we did. The food was all delicious. The atmosphere was “dive bar-ish” and I think that was where they were going.

It was perfect! A strange favorite for me was the bathroom. I could have spent the whole meal here. Whoever thought of this is a genius! If/when we are in RI again we will be back. Although the brunch cuisine didn’t suit my taste buds, I must say that the waitresses were highly professional and courteous throughout my visit. Additionally, the ambiance of the place was quite pleasant and inviting.

Their Bloody Mary is one of the best ones I have ever tasted! Also tried the French toast brioche with blueberries and it was delicious! Their portion sizes are quite large, so even one dish is big enough to share with someone! The ambiance of the place is of the rusty, dive bar type but it works for them! The staff was also very fast and friendly! Will come back in the future to try more of their drinks!

I have been enjoying this restaurant for many years. BEST breakfast/ brunch in Providence! Any thing breakfast will be phenomenal. The staff are great, drinks are good, Brian and his crew are on the ball. Food comes out fast and delicious. These guys got brunch down pat!
