Real experience

Food top notch. Started with Fried Calamari which was fried and seasoned perfectly. I had the Proper Lobster Benedict, my wife had the Southern Benedict, and our daughter had the French toast. All three were delicious! Hats off to the chefs in the kitchen for their superior cooking.

Service superior. Our waitress Maddie was very friendly and always made sure we were doing well/and our food was ordered correctly. She even offered to take our picture! Thank you for making our brunch experience enjoyable.

Although it was cloudy and our booth was away from the window, we still had a great view of the lake. The view of Lake Hefner definitely adds to the ambience of the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable for an upscale dining restaurant. With three meals, three drinks and an appetizer we were only charged 80 dollars before tax. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for more upscale meal for celebrations or hosting business clients. Won’t be disappointed.

Before I get to the food I have to talk about the service and atmosphere. The service was over the top. You are greeted at the door, and once seated there is someone checking on your service every few minutes; to make sure your food is delivered promptly, your drinks are kept full and you are happy with everything. The atmosphere is relaxing and very comfortable.

You can have a view of the lake in a cozy booth with overstuffed cushions that make feel like you are sitting on your couch at home. The food was excellent. I saw a picture of their Shrimp Louie Salad and had to give it a try. It was as good as it looked! My wife had a club with fries.

The fries were great and the sandwich was a tasty generous portion. This place is so relaxing and with wonderful food that you won’t want to leave.

Didn’t think I liked seafood till Ona a work trip in OKC and another attendee in our group bought one of every appetizer listed! I said if he did it I would try one of everything. To my surprise I guess I Do like Seafood. My favorite was the Oysters St Charles. They were absolutely delicious. The Oysters on the Half Shell served with Horseradish and a red sauce were also Really good.

All of the appetizers were good in fact! I ordered the Newporter Salad and could not have been happier. There was nothing on this salad that was disappointing! I didn’t even know there was such a thing as candied pistachios! I would buy them by the bag! The service was Amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful. I only wish we would have made it for the sunset!

A friend recommended we stop at Hefner Grilll while in OKC. We should have made a reservation but didn’t. The wait time wasn’t too bad. We had a seat in about 15 minutes. We ordered a calamari appetizer, salmon, and a grouper dish. We tried the carrot cake too. We enjoyed the restaurant and the food was decent.
